Very helpful, thank you! How do you get the lever into the bracket in the first place? The instructions have completely left this step out and I can't work out where they fit that won't be blocked by the screw?

How many plastic leaver lock brackets needed for heavy curtains?

Hi Keri, for heavy curtains I would fit a bracket every 40cm (16 inches). Hope that helps.

This is a dumb device because if you put the curtain clip to the right of the lock itl end up coming off the track. If you put it to the left its push along

At 0.44s is that the hook or loop side of the velcro? Does it matter?

Hi John, it doesn't matter but I prefer to use the loop (soft) on the back of the pelmet. Then the hook (hard) on the pelmet top board. Either way it will still do the same job.

The video is titled how to gather pencil pleat curtains and that's exactly what it shows. If it was titled look how pretty my curtain heading looks. Then you would have a valid point.

Hi Neil, I suppose in theory it could happen. However it never has after fitting thousands of bay tracks over 30 years. I always end up hitting some timber joists in the ceilings :-)

Hi, The brackets I use are nylon and are very strong but fit these every 30cm across the track. I have never heard of metal versions of these brackets. Also I could not guarantee my brackets would fit your track.

Thank you. I found your video when searching for 'Sologlide curtain track stop ends'. Your video was very helpful in knowing how to insert the brackets and the stop ends. Caution...... Before you pull the strings make sure you tie off the other end, otherwise you’ll pull the strings straight through the curtains, which are then ruined....

Cords can be easily sewn back in using a large needle.

Easy Curtain Services 😢😢😢 Omgosh I just re-read my rude snarky comment. Thank you so much for calling me out. You DID give me such great advice and tips. Especially hand settings the pleates. I went and did that on all the drapes I'd hung ages ago. I can't believe the difference in how much nicer they hang now. Again, I DO apologize. I must have been having a bad day. I feel horrible. You SO did not deserve that. 😗😙👍❤️

TV Tech Hi this is a common mistake especially when buying ready made curtains. I plan on creating a page on my website really soon addressing this problem. Hopefully you and others can avoid this problem in the future :-)
