Criston Cole, Alicent, and Otto Hightower weasled their way to court with the sole purpose of destroying the Targaryens. No coincidence the Faith, Citadel, and Hightowers exist in close proximity at Old Town. Maesters are gray rat assassins free to poison at will.

Arguably the best episode of the season. A drunken rapist or an heir that is never around with 3 bastards and the man who was denounced as heir for a husband……These are the choices…… Rhaenyra is a complete idiot. 6 years later and she didn’t visit her father for UNTIL she needed something, didn’t visit king landing (the place she will rule later) and she let greens RULE the kingdom all this time….. AND she didn’t build any alliances for 6 years on dragonstone…..I mean what could go wrong….. Then she comes back to her kingdom and is shocked by the changes that happened when she wasn’t there……She then tries to USURP THE DRIFTMART THRONE and making last minute marriage proposals that were denied by Rhaenys until her father came by to save her…….n people say she was a good heir and could be a future good queen lol

Throughout the duration of the show, she made many mistakes and I believe not returning to Kings Landing before her dad died sooner was one of the biggest mistake she made

I dont understand the hate for Alicent in this episode her son lost an eye got attacked by 4 kids and her doesn’t at least punish Rt kids. (A ban from kings landing would be good) Instead he make law that is basically Its treason to talk about my daughter treason lol….. The worst thing Rt done throughout this episode was marring Daemon. He was Denounced as heir by the king and now he will be the new King by Rhaenyra action Daemon is not allowed in the Vale which is one of the six Kingdoms which she will need support in the future. Made everyone believe you killed ur husband and married a man who was rumored to kill his first wife. Ur former in laws will now believe u killed their son…A house she was aligned in the last 10 years…… Asking for Aemond to be sharply questioned(torture) ….that will help her little brother love her I face palmed so hard at the end of the episode n Rhaenyra was SHOCKED THAT PEOPLE WENT AGAINST HER lol also y in the hell did the King hire Otto back. New Subscriber heading ur way.

This is the episode where I instantly became Team Green and was against Rhaenyra. 3 obvious bastard kids creates nothing but problems for her entire reign. She lives in a medieval sexist society and she didn’t think to stop after the 1st child…..TRUTH DOES NOT MATTER ONLY PERCEPTION…..Apparently Rt didn’t hear that part lol If I was the King I would have disinherit her after the 3rd child and name Aegon heir and marry one of daemon daughter to Aegon. Both Otto and Corlys get their blood on the Iron Throne and Rhaenyra can live her life however she wants with her kids. 10 years every bastard is a slap to Alicent and Criston face. Rt knows by sleeping with Harwin is risking his life and their children lives…..I honestly wouldn’t trust Rt if I was Criston and Alicent. I never understood how people can say well Rt has a gay husband what what she suppose to do? Idk have a three way with laenor lover, be creative, or go with a guy with similar features of ur husband and not the exact opposite.......

"She knows he's talking to Rhaenyra" - yes, that's what the acting tells us. The way she suddenly leaves calling him "my king" cannot be explained otherwise. But this episode and the next were written by different people and it seems they did not coordinate. Ep. 9 is an illogical mess. This one is probably the best in the series so far.

"She needs to go back to her dad and assume her role" - Yes. That's what she should have done all along, learning to rule, making allies, becoming the acting ruler while the king still lives. That's how one prepares a succession, not by having kids with the commander of the City Watch and openly lying to everyone about them. Rhaenyra is a bad choice because she is untrustworthy. No one wants to follow someone who claims water isn't wet.

@@EverydayReacts-ev8mw No worries, bro! If you're a reader, i highly recommend reading fire and blood because they changed a lot of things in the show to make the greens look bad. Rhaenyra was WAY worse in the book and she did killed Laenor. The book is WILD as hell.

That is not how royal marriage works. Children are main goal of this. Laneor accepted children as his, and that is it - this is how patriarchy works. As Corlys said - history does not rememebr blood, it remebers names. Rhaenyra did nothing wrong - all she did was made agreement with her husband.

Let's imagine know situation when Laeor and Rhaneyra truly had legitimate child who wa simply light-skinned; it is very rare occurance among Black people but it happens. In this situation you would be no doubt on Rhaneyra side, because child would be her husband's. Yet I bet Alicent would be acted exactly the same. Please, understand - it does not matter who was father of Rhaenyra's children. Greens strated plotting against her long before she was even married. It would change nothing in this history if she had true born chldren with Laenor.

I do not see she commited any treason - she made agreement with Laenor, and both her father and Laneor's father supported outcome.

@@EverydayReacts-ev8mw If she named her brother as her heir it would remove the line of succession from Aemma's line to Alicent's. The victory would still be the Hightowers. Plus if she did that she would be disinheriting her sons, confirming their illegitimacy, and sentencing them and possibly her own self, to death. Her son marrying Alicent's daughter was a good solution but because Jace is illegitimate Alicent was like hell nah. Rhaenyra needed heirs or she would be denied the throne and for being incapable of having children, however I do think she should have checked the Velaryons for a father. At least the children would look mixed with white hair. Maybe she felt it was better to have children with a man completely devoted to her so as to ensure no betrayal.

I can understand why Criston Cole did. It's a guy who comes from the scratchs and by herself he achieves be a Kingsguard. He slept with the Princess but he knows he is doing something bad ( Rhaenyra knows it too, but she doesn't care, she does what she wants ) and when he tries to fix it Rhaenyra declined him and "call him a whore". The last things you can do to Criston Cole, is blackmailing him and Joffrey did., then Joffrey paid. In the other hand, is like you said, Alicent is always thinking in rules, in the realm, in the family, she always do the ring thing, if i was her i would be upset too. Even his father was kick out from the court for saying the truth.

Everyday..I am a huge Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon Fan and I so want to see you enjoy probably the best 2 Fantasy Drama Series to date ever produced....however, if I may make a few suggestions that just might help increase not only the amount of per views but subscribers as well. I know of a couple of Channels that only reacted to Games of Thrones and went from less than 20 subs to over 8K in under 2 years. Sure, I realized its your channel and apologize in advance however, I see you have a lot of charisma, talent, your background and openings are very well done. However, as I have seen others comment you do need to definitely turn up the volume and turn on the subtitles. Subtitles are a must for Game of Thrones for real.. Another suggestion try not to talk over the dialogue, as the dialogue in both of these Series is one of the most important aspects. If you have pause to express your thoughts we understand some pausing..no big deal😊 I would suggest you check out a couple of Seasoned House of the Dragon Reactors and check how they balance their reactions...I know KZfaq is not kind and brutal with the copyright stuff but these reactors have mastered their skills and we loyal fans (and believe me we are loyal) appreciate all of their efforts. We appreciate them letting us know What's up and we appreciate them being consistent with their uploads..for sure we fans know life and shi## happens and we understand. Be honest folks, I enjoyed every episode all the way until this one, I signed a praise of this show the entire way I got my friends and family to watch it but with that said you have to be honest it was a little bit misleading they were leading up to a battle that never happened, all we got was a head been chopped off

I never really cared about the twist where you split the merge people into two tribes and vote off one from each… but I really enjoyed this episode… I was on my edge of my seat this entire time! It was pretty obvious that Tim was going home but Soda???… Great job as always Survivor! Though I hated how Venus took credit for her blindside as it was Tevin who orchestrated! Also naming it Episode Several is crazy! ( PS: I will be honest… Maybe Tevin voted for Venus cuz he didn’t want to make it an unanimous blindside vote… idk ) Btw, have you thought about watching the Amazing Race? Some season are great… while the recent season I am watching… is boring due to the 90 minute format… I hope in fall CBS does 90 minute Survivor and 60 minute Amazing Race… I really don’t care about Amazing Race 36 at this point… Oh and… Kenzie has gone a lot up for me! Who do you think is getting winner’s, villain’s, and goat edit?
