If I am not mistaken, the person that owns the animal farm, also houses cyclists that want to ride the Great Divide going up into Canada. He will give the cyclist a ride to the border so they can ride back to the farm. Then the next day, they start their journey.

As much as Mexico is a beautiful country, if I were to be taken to Mexico against my will (especially to border towns like Ciudad Juarez, Tijuana, Nogales, or Reynosa), I would make a plan in advance to escape from Mexico and return to the United States as soon as possible to avoid being killed by Mexico's cartels. I have the deepest respect for you for having the guts to stay in Mexico for four months, because if I were you, I would last less than a day in Mexico before immediately returning to the United States, especially if I were to find myself in dangerous border towns like Juarez. In fact, I would use U-turns in the United States whenever I am permitted to do so to save myself from going to Mexico altogether due to my intense fear of dying the moment I enter the country. I highly value safety over anything else, and Mexico appears to lack safety compared to other countries, so I would stay the hell away from Mexico.

Always tip the locals and be nice everyone. They are beautiful ❤

Ironically, I also experienced an airline strike in BA... in 1985. I had an air pass with AArgentina but it looked like there was no resolve on the air strike, so military planes were offered. 'To make a long story short, I flew with them wherever they were going in Argentina, and they went to Calafate among other places. At that time, Calafate was a one-street dusty town, but we got to the glacier, which was not a tourist destination at the time. Stupendous! Not an easy trip but the vistas were grand throughout the Argentina... all via the whim of military planes. Thanks for your video and triggering these memories.

I had never realized how shocking it can be to see so much partying in a cemetery hahaha, but it's always like that, they sell all kinds of food, flowers, they have mini concerts, there are games, even movie screenings, contests for the best catrina costume, because the dead are supposed to be enjoying this day too. My father always spills a little of his beer to toast them, he believes that even though they are dead, they deserve to have a little fun hahaha.

Locals like me tend to favor thin-crust over deep-dish pizza but it's tasty for sure and, sorry but, any tourist who thinks a Starbucks is a destination is not using their time well. The Art Institute would have been time better spent. Other than that you did well. -I would recommend taking a water taxi south down the river to Chinatown for a good meal or -south along the lake front to the museum campus to see the Planetarium, the Aquarium, and the Museam of Natural History. All first rate. -You should have checked out some of the nice beaches too. -Navy Pier is very touristy but it is still very nice and offers great views of the skyline. -Buckingham Fountain at night is quite beautiful and there is a lovely garden to the north of it. -The Lincoln Park Conservatory and the pond by Lincoln Park Zoo are quite nice and free.

Did you skip the Recoleta Cemitery? That's the best place to see in Buenos Aires, IMHO. The graves there are an work of art, full of history too.

This was a lovely video and made my hometown look as wonderful as it is in real life! If you're visiting the same neighborhoods, visit Chicago Pizza & Grinder for their pot pie pizza (right down the street from RJ's, and they're cash only BTW.) The actual park within Lincoln Park has a free zoo and beautiful paths. But don't miss out on visiting all the other neighborhoods, not just the Northside - they're all different and mostly accessible by the CTA. You can spend a lot time on Museum Campus (also has stunning views of the city.) Pilsen has great food and the Heart of Chicago Italian restaurant row. And the West Loop restaurant scene is not to miss!
