I remember this scene as being strangely intimate for two people that have only just met. It has been said that the only women Dean ever truly loved were Cassie and Lisa. So… is there a reason they decided to make this a lovemaking scene, rather than a sex scene? After one single conversation with any actual depth to it, and suddenly they’re making love like it’s their wedding night. Bit odd, if you ask me. If there was more build up, there’s a possibility I could get behind it. I understand they were both in need of comfort, I just think it’s weird how comfortable they were being all romantic and vulnerable when they don’t even know each other that well. It’s literal canon that Dean struggles to express vulnerability, so it makes no sense why he would be so extremely soft and lovey-dovey with a girl he just met less than a week ago. I also know some people have preferences, but slow and smooth sex is not the same as what he was doing to her. He was making love to her. He put so much care into every move he made and it was far too purposeful if you ask me.
