Have you played with all three colors of playmats? If so which is better for clear sleeves. If you have an opinion on it. Good intro sharing with buddies.

The only playmats I have are the doctor strange and iron man. I prefer the design of doctor strange! For clear sleeves, I think any playmats would go well :)

once the Hero phase ends and you draw cards up to your hand size, when the villain initiates an attack and I have an upgrade card in my hand that will allow me to make a Hero Interrupt. Let's say I have Gambit's Staff upgrade card in my hand and the villain attacks me (Gambit) can I pay the 1 cost and put Gambit's Staff in play and perform the Hero Interrupt? thanks!
@robysur

No, you can only play events during villain phase. Gambit's staff must be in play to trigger its ability.

Very nice video. One other small correction besides the two that have been mentioned - when a Gearloc's initiative die is tied with others, you can choose where they go in relation to the other tied units. They don't necessarily have to go before them. It's also worth pointing out that some Tyrants have multiple Tyrant encounter cards, in which case you use them all.

thanks for the video, just learnt the game and watching this to catch any rule I've missed! I did spot one error: if a baddie rolls two bones, the back-up skill does not trigger twice. From the rulebook: 8. Baddie Backup Plan (BP) Skills trigger if a Baddie rolls at least the # of shown on the Baddie chip from all its Atk and Def Dice rolls combined this turn. Rolled do not carry over to the next turn. BP Skills can only be triggered once per turn and are listed on the GARG. BP Skills trigger after resolving rolled Def and Atk, even if the Skill text indicates different timing.

Is there any point in splitting and assigning damage from a single attack across multiple minions? If an attack of 5 is dealt but the minion only has 2HP. i can discard the minion and ignore the remaining 3 damage right? That doesn't go to the hero?
@jinsoloboardgames
@jinsoloboardgames Жыл бұрын
Yes that’s correct. However, if your attack had the keyword “overpower” (it could be overwhelm, I have to double check), then the excess damage is dealt to the villain.
@prash11leo
@prash11leo Жыл бұрын
Oops I meant to say ally and not minion in my above example. But yeah, same concept, I guess
@jinsoloboardgames
@jinsoloboardgames Жыл бұрын
@@prash11leo oh, yes! Generally speaking, you ignore the excess damage applied to allies too! That is why allies are such great chump blockers - with one health you can mitigate infinite 1 time damage. However, there is also a keyword which I can’t remember off the top of my head, that applies the excess damage to heros. You can find it in the Galaxy Most Wanted expansion - Ronin villain!

Question, for the villain step 3, if the villain attacks me and the first card he drawn doesn't have boost or star in the lower right corner, should I resolve the card or should I discard it and draw another card?
