No Smoking, Johny Gaddar, Ek Chalis ki Last Local, Life in a Metro, Guru, Chak De, Bhool Bhulaiya, Om Shaanti Om, ShootOut at Lokhandwala - some of the terrific movies released in 2007. My 9th grade nostalgia hits hard, hitting my pre-board prep nervousness back again with a sense of excitement at the same time. No Smoking was like LSD for me back then at schooltime, and acted as a litmus paper test for the crowd's general taste out there. Them 'Aashiqui 2' plebian pajeet fanatics would probably take another 50 years just to understand the synopsis of this movie!

Promotion works all you need is to know how to promote. Gadar 2 is a nice example of great Promotion. Rereleasing Gadar 1 before second part was masterstroke it creates a nostalgia and movie worked even it was below power. Pathan has done great promotion, orange bikini things genuinely worked.
