Will this cam fit in a bone stock LS2? Im just concerned if it will have enough valve clearance? I’ve got the cam in now from experience have you had any problems with valve clearance with installing this cam at all? Thanks

I just had a Dyno Tune done to my HSV LS3 it has the full Di-filippo Dual 3 inch exhaust with Bi-modal mufflers and CAI. After getting it back I noticed the Bi-modal mufflers were closed the whole time it was getting tuned, (I was there the whole time) I asked them if it would make a difference to the tune and horse power numbers and they said that it would make no difference!! Is that correct. Cheers wish I lived near you guy's to tune my car.

You guys done much work with TwinScrew blowers? (Whipple/YellaTerra) Technically more efficient rotor pack design, but interested in real word examples. Harrop TVS PD blowers definitely work and understand supporting Aus companies! Interested in your thoughts on both 👍

Sweet! Glad to see that camshaft... Mine is the previous BTR stg4 PDS LSA/LS9 235/252 629/600 119+5 with bore and stroke to 6.8l and E85 # were 715whp/698tq The wide lsa gave more up top hp and the bore and stroke helped the torque #. We also snapped the 456 input shaft so we beefed up the transmission with a CircleD kit for 1200 hp and a 3400 Hughes stall converter. The 6l90e is good for hp under 750 crank hp. I could drop in a 2650 but being a convertible ZL1 I probably wouldn't put it to good use. And the 3.23 rear end makes it a road race car. Thanks for the videos and your time to read this!

Ever tune an LFX with aftermarket cams? Mace cams? I have a V6 Camaro, full intake/exhaust and Mace cams, currently tuning it myself; just wondering what kind of power I might expect (will take it to a dyno once I think I've done everything I can on the street). Heard of some getting 330 - 340 WHP but never seen any dyno charts.

Sounds racey as, you lose depth in the exhaust note removing the mufflers, one muffler each side ,x pipe, with straight through cats sounds best best of both worlds.

For a stock bottom end, this is a massive winner.

I wonder if anyone has had a titanium headers made up full try y headers and also good flowing cats euro spec ones and free flowing cat back system the reason why, is because all the aftermarket headers other than say manta brand are made well, not saying that hurricane or x force or other brands are not good ,but they are all 4 into 1, when you really need to follow the HSV try system, which produces the low down torque and power as well ,so something like this comb would be massive with a good 1" 1/8 try y headers and even with th factory cats and cat back sy7stem will make more power than off the shelf try y headers.

ouch! those manafolds just don't work on a N/A LS unless your building 8500rpm LS monster, you need a big stall, put a turbo on it and that's where they shine, stock is king on an LS street car you give away way to much hp with them, I get the wanting the looks hey buddy your the 1st engine guy on KZfaq who's gets it and hasn't got his head up his own arsehole 👍

that's a whisker over 500hp that's a pretty darn nice street car in anyone's book, hasn't engines come a long way from the 308 you could spend 20k on a plastic engine and still not get much over 400rw

this cam makes great power, how is it on fuel economy and as a car used 2-3 times per week. ? previously had an ls3 manual with a vcm16 cam and fdfi2300, cant remember exactly but idled at 6.5lt / hr and around town was 25-28lt / 100 normal driving.

Engine Dyno is the best for true figures. A Dyno is just a tool like a flow bench. You don't race Dynos and flow benchs😂.

Would you recommend egr blanking plates before doing the tune as well?

I remember being at dyno watching my mates car get tuned and his 4.5 diff ratio gave him 1100 torque.. they weren't looking for numbers so hadnt connected up any of the calibration stuff it was only fuel afr and ignition adjusting and just went off what numbers the dyno decided to put out
