I don't get what's with Westerners and cameras in China. London has the most cameras in the whole wide world and the West doesn't talk about it. Angela Merkel, the former Chancellor of Germany, her iphone got tapped by the US and still no one talks about it. Then when China install cameras to keep public security, almost every Western vlogger/tourist stresses it. Biased much? First, they are there to keep you safe unless you don't care or need safety. Second, they won't interfere with your life unless you have secret agendas. Last, the West always emphasise privacy but in this world, do people still have privacy??

@@josievlogsthings Not really care but astonished and speechless about this conscious or unconscious bias. Also, so many crimes happening in NZ, US... not sure about AU, haven't followed the news in AU, and the police just couldn't find or arrest those criminals because no cameras and no evidence captured. Glad to see tourists travelling safely in China and enjoying their trips but yet amazed that many don't realise that cameras contribute to this safety. Ideology, safety, bias, privacy... intersting to see that people cannot get the priority right.

So we're Guangdongese and the young generation can speak good Mandarin as you can see. But as the older generation like my parents, they can't. My parents always try to speak Cantonese by using the tone of Mandarin. So that they think people can understand what they say in Cantonese.😂😂😂😂
