@@cliffdiver1942 😹😹😹 … I have two of them one fretless one fretted …, and play them all the time I record with the fretless Bass quite often… Five of my Bass students also have the Glarry Bass and nobody has complained about them….! I’m sorry it does not work for you …🤔 for the money I think they are fine base Guitar…! They play good they sound good…! All bass guitars are pretty much neck heavy , my regular precision is neck heavy and so are my two music Man Basses … Not as neck, heavy as , the small body of Glarry but that does not keep people from playing them…. Again, I am always setting down when I am playing my bass most of the time ….

I used to hang out with Roberta Hilton , Lisa Degler, Becky and Gail Ames, you know The Fun Girls ..😹😹👍🏻 I remember when I was playing my guitar in the band I had at the time, Tommy Larkins played drums for me, And Pat games stood on the stage and played tambourine…😹😹😹 This amplifier brings back lots of memories good memories …🙏🏻🎶🎶🙏🏻🎶🎶🙏🏻

@@vandyau1 😹😹😹👍🏻 I am just glad I was actually able to repair it Myself…🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 It Needed Two 10mf Caps and a Resistor…! The old speaker was blown, and other small issues that I was able to figure out and take care of..👍🏻 It will rock and roll for sure…! it reminds me of my youth growing up playing through amps like this whenever possible…! It is way better than my first amplifier …🙏🏻👍🏻🤔

Hey all - it's been two years. I figured I'd jump on here and update everyone on this project guitar Jeff tricked out for me. It's still awesome! Fun as heck as I'm developing my slide skills. Late to the game here. Very very cool mod - I would skip the Bigsby but can appreciate it and the rest of the mods as well. I wonder if a different pick-up could be mounted on the original Gretsch pick-up frame? It was hard to tell from the video but I imagine you know having had a close look. Thank you for your words…🙏🏻👍🏻 The Gretsch pick up frame is kind of thin, And the pick up is made directly onto the frame itself…. Even the gold foil, Tescio Delray style pick ups , are wider then they great pick up. I took out of it….. 😹😹😹👍🏻 Yep… the video is about the guitar being ( modified and how it sounds electric ⚡️) …, The Jim Dandy Guitar sounds like crap all buy themselves….! They are not really made of what you would call a quality tone wood…..! I made a Jim Dandy video of just the guitar and me playing years ago. It’s OK. , for practice or beginner guitar…but there is no tonal quality to the guitar., without it being electrically modified…!

I never understood modern day jazz guitars they are essentially an acoustic guitar with a pickup. Historically I see the evolution….acoustic guitar then electricity then amplification then the need to put a pickup in an acoustic guitar to amplify the sound. On the acoustic side I saw the need for a big fat hollow body it was for volume because there were no amps or pickups for guitar.
