I upgraded to the new Widow Maker 3.5. It has a crossbolt safety & you can just leave it off. It also has a laser (factory calibrated to 27 inches). I like your sprinkler tube mod! 👍😎👍

It's hard to explain how to do it but inside those guns is pretty complex the cocking mechanism is like a long rack gear you can take them apart and turn the gear that meshes with the rack with the rack out of it and put it back in there where it's partly turned before you cock it then you get more spring tension I wouldn't do it unless you can afford to break it because like I said they're pretty complex and you might not be able to get it back together right

Wait, did you say FREE state of Idaho? What do you mean by that? We are all free states. Some obviously more free than others. I certainly wouldn’t consider Idaho a free state compared to many other states where all citizens enjoy equal rights. Idaho just passed one of the most draconian laws relating to women’s rights. A federal judge had to back them off a little! You do know about that ? Sometimes, the term free state is used as an oxymoron to what that place really is, a repressive state. I hope that’s not what you are inferring? Maybe it just slipped?

Great trigger safety and great eye relief, but homie, you gotta teach her the proper stance. For the top half: Less like riding a skateboard and more like opening a door. For the bottom half: stand as if you're trying to keep a door shut!

Obviously you did not read any of the other comments and replies below. My wife is well versed in shooting pistols and rifles from 22lr up to 308Win. I demonstrated hold and stance. She wanted to try it the way she felt comfortable when shooting a high powered rifle. Do not judge. I would never do anything to hurt my wife. So with that, I thank you for your comment! I have a new "salt weapon" that has a push button safety. When you take the safety off it stays off. I like the extended choke tube and need to see if I have some tubing that will fit over the 1/2" I have to work with after I put a Bug Beam on it. I want to leave the laser on it, but now I'm thinking, if I can find a piece of tubing that fits snugly over that, and another piece that fits tightly inside that piece of tubing I might be able to tighten up the pattern a little bit better.

Makes me kind of sad this video. I shot a 12 gauge with a pistol grip seven times with my bare hand. Not sure if i needed a glove because at seven shots my hand wasn't bruised but the veins were bulging out of the palm. Life really isn't fair if i can do that and the same gun spins her around and bruises her shoulder. Difference between male and female physicality is huge.

If you are insinuating I tried to hurt her on purpose for my own enjoyment. You couldn’t be more wrong. My wife shoots everything from 22lr to 308Win. She wanted to try the 12 gauge. She shouldered properly and, if you noticed, didn’t even flinch/move the gun when pulling the trigger with the safety engaged. I demonstrated, shooting the gun first. We both had a good laugh at her first experience. She’s proud she overcame her fear of the 12 gauge and considered this an accomplishment. Thank you for your comment.

Actually she is an avid shooter! Shoots 22lr to 308Win. Her favorite is a 45ACP MechTech upper on a 1911 frame. She’s deadly accurate! But admits she will only shoot a 12 gauge if she has to. Thank you for your comment!

She had it snug on the shoulder, but also had 3 layers of shirts and a medium weight jacket. She is accustomed to shooting 22lr up to 308Win rifles. Her favorite is a 45ACP MECHTECH upper on a 1911 frame. Thank you for your comment!

She needs to learn to tuck the shotgun into her shoulder a little bit and lean into it but other than that pretty damn good for her first time. She kept the muzzle down towards the ground even though she backed up and did pretty good.
