Most dolls are from Aliexpress. They are ”factory dolls” aka fake blythe dolls but they are a lot more affordable and better for costums.

Thank you so much for talking about this topic, I feel just exactly like you, and I know I can't do anything to change this situation, but you know what? It’s impossible for people to keep living like this, people is getting sick and sick with this kind of life, and when they get so sick both physically and mentally they won’t be able to function, they'll realize that the kind of life they've been living (fast consumption, without any second to stop and live slower) is getting them sick they will stop, and in time everyone else will stop too, so don't worry, live as you (and me) know is correct, thankfully we do realize these issues, so we can live a much healthier life with meaning and purpose, and trust me I was living as the rest of the people until I got really sick that I almost died. It took me 8 years and a lot of introspection to understand why I was so sick and changed it to finally start to get better, now i'm studying different kind of arts, and like you, I get frustrated that social media isn't supporting artists, instead they support as you said stupid content, gossip, trends etc, but when I was literally dying, I didn't know how but I was sure that I would get cured even when everything in my reality was telling me that I wouldn't. It’s the same way now, even when everything about the kind of art that I like tells me that is not profitable, because social media, trends, big companies, etc. selling for cents things they manufacture, I trust with the same faith (in God and me) that I will make it, and you will too. Blessings from Mexico ❤🙂

Hello Anri, what a beautiful BJD you’ve made . She is so beautiful and it’s incredible that it is your first complete self made BJD. As I say always your talent is so much underrated and your artwork is so unique . I’ve also wanted to to make one myself. But I’ve made it with 3D models and it was a challenge to me. Your experience to make a workshop is my personal favourite…to talk to other artists to complete your workflow is so important and inspiring. Take your dreams and make them come true…I’m sure you will be successful. Thanks for sharing❤

Acrylic paint is pretty easy to fix if you make a mistake (either repaint after it dries or scrape it off) but i feel like it'll make the doll's surface bumpy
