So where are the ones who are defying this culture and seeking God like this? I'm standing up to the enemy and denying his lies and traps to take our focus off of God! The enemy had me so lost I thought I was Trans, and gave up 4 years of my life and caused people pain because of his lies and hate. I'm standing up to him and getting ready for a war against him and his grip on our culture! Just quit my job so I can fully devote every minute to God's will. It's all in or nothing people, that's what we were created for! Let's Rise Up!!! Be the men and women that show this culture how big our God really is, go spend every moment with him and seek him over anything this godless culture has to offer. You don't need a retirement, 401k or Social Security. God promises to take care of us so why are you putting hope in the government. It's time we rebel against this world, stand firm in who God says he is and who we are, be the hands and feet of God on this earth performing miracles and helping the helpless. We are called to show His Glory in everything we do... What are you showing?

Question brother. In light of Tim being released from prison I went and looked at a couple of interviews of his prior to going to prison, he states that only 1 in 10 Christian band are really Christians. To your knowledge how true is this statement?

I've been reintroduced into religion after years of being an atheist. there has been such a change in me. the peace I feel is indescribable. I met mattie on Saturday after his band played and I told him my story. he spent almost 20 minutes talking to me despite the long line of people behind me waiting to meet him. he told me the story of the woman at the well who met jesus and was healed from her years of heartbreak and then spread the word of what he had done for her. It spoke to me a lot. Mattie is amazing and I am so thankful for him.

+Kitty Portal Amen, God is good & Jesus is the King of Kings. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding , in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight. Just remember that through prayer and calling upon the Lord he will set your path/life straight its not about what we think we know but about the truth and wisdom in the Lord. having a personal relationship everyday with the Lord will keep you on the straight path & having that eternal joy you feel not the temporarily joy this world gives you. Amen, I pray for strong and secure faith in your walk in life and for cure and healing in any area of your life. In Jesus mighty name Amen & Amen!

@@XVIII7 Even though this was years ago, I stand in agreement with this for myself. I ask to have an open and surrender heart to Jesus Christ. I've allowed doubt to sink wreck my trust in Jesus, but I want to believe and have faith in Jesus Christ.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did get burned in the oven in the end. So I'm curious about what Mattie means with 'They knew He would and He did'. Does he mean their place in heaven as in 'helping'?

Mattie means that God saved Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Mattie said that 'they knew He would save them, and He did.' If you look, they were thrown into the fire in Daniel 3:21-23, but look at what happened in the same chapter verse 26 they came out of the furnace and verse 27 says that the fire had no effect on their bodies, no burns or smell, nothing, because God saved them. This is what Mattie means, these boys knew God would save them from the fire of the furnace.

@@augusttoday You know what I do? I read the entire chaptor to get some context, particularly when someone trys to condemn something (like tattoos or heavy metal music for example). Someone might try to use a bible verse to condemn rock music, and then I'll go "Ok, let me read the entire chapter that contains the verse you quoted to see if it's even talking about any kind of music at all". Your point about reading the whole chapter to understand it reminded me of this. I cannot stress the importance of context... you mess up God's word (and therefore your view of God) without it.

Mattie I just... I'm always speechless. The way that God works through you is incredible. By your boldness I have, myself, found my place with God and he has gave me that strength to be bold. I now stand to anyone who defies my lord. I speak from my heart and allow the Holy Spirit to fill the gaps in my heart. You inspire me to change to the world. There's one quote from you that started it all (besides your music and lyrics from For Today) and it hit me hard. "You did not receive Christ just so things could be better for you when you leave this world but so that things could be better for this world because you're in it".... I now speak out every day and guide people to a life where all things are possible. It's pure inspiration.

We're already in a war brother? Open the eyes and see what's going on around us. Their forcing us to bow to money and obey, they said we will be chipped to buy food and purchase our daily needs. We have been chipped for years, your bank card, it has your chip in it. It's on your name, it's always on you, it's part of you, it's your only way to buy and live! Only last year i realized this ....This is what scares me!
