Regarding the Romansh speaker the pronounciation is heavily influenced by swiss german dialects in my opinion, which sounds very different from standard german. A mix of Vulgar Latin but with a swiss german prononciation if that makes any sense

2:30 very relatable. The movie 'Ya No Estoy Aquí' makes a point of this, even without learning a second language - great movie!

you were almost right about BARTHELONA /BARCELONA she was talking about PARTHENONA/PARTHENON ,I personally believe the Greek pronunciation was left over in Spain by the ancient city of EMPURIES in Costa Brava . thanks for the video . i learned Spanish by following the bolero music of the famous "trios de Mexico" and believe that Greek schools should include this language in their curriculum. when in Mexico many people think i am Madrileño because of the way i sound . here are some Greek words that sound exactly the same in spanish : geografia, istoria, filosofia, tilefono, goustaro, stifado, paragka, foumaro ,patata etc i used to keep a list words that are almost the same in both languages but i no longer have it .adios.antio.adio

Out of these 3, as Brazilian, Galician is the easy one . For the it is a different form of Portuguese. I got 95% of Galician, 85% of Ladino, and Aragonese is the most hard, maybe because of the accent’s guy, I got likely 70%.

I give her credit for using the language. She shows her love of culture. THis is important to me, in my life, as I am from Welsh speaking and Gaelic speaking immigrants. Of course it is almost impossible to speak fluently if you don't live in the country or household where a language is constantly used. I took Spanish in college and give her a a good grade/rating. We absolutely need passionate people who care about people and our environment.

I speak Spanish, the Venetian is the only one I'd say is similar enough to understand for a Spanish speaker. the Napolitan is way too fast, and the Sicilian might as well be Greek

el problema con el napolitano es que la a, la e y la o finales, cuando no están acentuadas se convierten en sonidos schwa, como la a en "about". Además, el tío hablaba muy rápido.

Both are syllable-timed languages and also have cultural points of contact (Roman Empire; Greek Empire, Greek colonies on the Iberian peninsula, etc.). That is why we also have a few similar words like piato (plato), kouniados (cuñado), banio (baño), porta (puerta) and many others. By the way "tomato" in Greek is not "damatos" but "domáta".... and truth is cultures have similarities and touching points, no matter which cultures. Greece hals also connections to middle eastern cultures, to "balkan" cultures and so on... many similarities. And another thing that comes to my mind that Greeks also have "churros". We call them touloúmbes.

This guy is a Chilean trying to sound as if he isn't. These tips are no more than the typical thing many Chileans would say about themselves but lacking the wider perspective of how really a foreigner sees us. There're lots of things that puzzle people from abroad beyond these picky exaggerations. Don't sound like this if you don't want to sound rough. Chileans are not rough in speaking, just extremely lazy and smooth, so much that it may sound shy. This is something Chileans counteract with cheeky sarcasm, animal metaphors or intellectual jokes. That's everywhere on our Chilean version of Spanish. Not this.
