The journal turned out beautiful. I always like hearing you share the makers who inspired you to start creating junk journals, and encourage us to go check them out. The recipient will enjoy filling this journal

Did you tell what a (treasure journal) was? I have never heard that phrase before.🤔
@JuniDesiree3 күн бұрын
I think in this case I was just referring to a journal that is a treasured object. Or a treasure journal because you keep treasure inside, whatever treasure means to people. To me treasure means anything that people journal about because people are treasures. Treasures can also mean special items people collect to add to journals. E.g. Photos to document treasured memories, vintage treasures, etc.

Oh!! How beautiful is this journal, just devine....I love doing colour themes in journals, I'm using your yellow bird journal and I'm tweaking it into a yellow journal and having yellow birds, flowers and butterflies, it will be a chunky journal, which I know you don't really do, but I will still have all your beautiful ephemera in it but just with a twist. x

When you talk about bugs eating ephemera and scrapbook items, it reminds me that you live in Australia:) We tend not to have that issue here in the Eastern part of the US.

I have used eyelets and seam binding for journal covers. I just finished my 3 ring vacation to the beach journal. I forgot about making a shaker card with some sand. Now the Daphne's Diary journals will be be my next big project. Much love to you ❤❤❤

Wondering what more you can make with this magazine (envelop, collage, tags, etc.). Maybe a idea to make a video about it?😊😊
@JuniDesiree7 күн бұрын
Absolutely, I’ve got quite a few videos sharing other projects like those ones you mentioned. Here is one of them making envelopes and pockets but I also have others and a bunch showing how I journal and decorate pages with the magazine, plus a full free course filling a DD journal: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z86idMJp05OXdWg.html

Daphne's Diary is still my favorite magazine. I have seen , In Her Studio magazine. I mostly buy my DD magazine at a Winco grocery store. I still have too many already to make journals with. So far i have used 2 issues and have made aound 8 journals. I have to make the covers out of green file folders covered with fabric. I like the big size the best. I also use the pastel color copy paper as some of the pages. Love your Daphne's Diary videos ❤❤❤

I always work around the beautiful images and girl with plate was perfect for the front of a cover. I was like noooo! When you folded it half. I alway enjoy you finally creations and its fun to see others how they use the same materials.

Hehe, me too. I wasn’t a fan of that image but I liked the blue and the florals since I’m a blue girl and adore wildflowers. They stole the show for me. So fun how we all create differently using the same materials.

Love this! One of my favorite vidoes actually. I've kept some items I don't love, and when I use them I'm not happy with the results. 😑 Time to make some choices! Do you keep items that are more "focal pieces" separate? TFS!

Just love all your scraps Juni, music paper is my favorite too. Your wooden box looks really old, love this. I have so many bits & pieces in my stash it can be over whelming at times, you have to do a random cull and clean every now & then, this sometime prompts me to make something on the spot, sorting inspires me to use my scraps. Thanks Juni. xxx

Hello. I’m the Silly Billy that asked you about this exact journal in your recent live. I had remembered incorrectly that this was a journal of Barbie. I really do prefer Cinderella over Barbie. I really enjoyed some of the ingenious ways that you paired the various pages nicely together. I look forward to watching more from you. Thank you so much.

I love to see how you are pulling everything together. At the begining of the course I couldn't envision how it was going to come together. By the way, if you haven't found the flowers yet, I believe they ended up in the envelope with the other little bits and pieces. Thank you for sharing.
