Hey Mylo,I'll be honest,l have never had much love for lbanez as l had a mid budget 440 in 1993 in New York and it literally fell apart on me,I said NEVER AGAIN! BUT...........l did buy a Prestige 7 string and it was a well constructed guitar,Prestige are excellent! Also a main busking guitar for many years was the Rg mid price Sabre guitar,a very solid guitar,made me a lot of money!!!! I'm no expert but let me look up your model today and I'll give you my verdict. My friend has a real Prestige Sabre. OMG! Incredible guitar,so they do make quality, I'll get back to you!

2059 euros on Thomann,it looks a very well made JAPANESE Guitar which is so important, they are the remaining bastion of serious quality in the World. I don't trust US Guitars anymore,Korea doesn't seem to make many guitars these days so Japan is the KING OF QUALITY. 5 piece neck wouldn't be for me but a fine solid build,it's a pricey guitar but it looks like a very well made instrument. I'm not a fan of just the top coloured and the rest of the guitar naked wood,don't be cheap guys! Colour the back and sides too! I don't like that personally, it smacks of trying to save money. Great Dimarzios on it,serious crunch. The own brand edge trem is a good workable trem,very easy to change strings,much easier than a floyd. Gotoh tuners are excellent. It's a little pricey for what it is but it's a guitar you would hang onto for years and use for rock,metal,serious soloing and fusion. Personally l think E-II make a much better instrument with a higher quality but you won't find that ultra sleek neck on an E-II. it looks Petrucci thin! Yeah man,I'd say go for it,looks a great PRO Guitar.

Also Stainless Frets is something I really like, a bit smoother bends, and not thinking of refretting in 10 years or more... I don't have those Tone Zone/Air Norton's, I am curious about haha... I liked the quality, but seriously E-II looks sturdier, you are very strong and E-II would do best for you. I agree, on the paint job, haha but I also wish they used Nitro finish as well........ Which Ibanez never does, but could be cool to see some models with that! Dan we also miss your videos with the Aussie Phil, you and him should buy guitars and talk about guitars all day long! Mornin Gary! I had six and sold them one by one over six months or so precovid,things may have changed since then as there is a dichotomy between what a seller expects his guitar to get and what a buyer needs to see looped off the new price. This l notice is the issue lately,e.g. guy selling LTD EC1000 secondhand,he pays 1100 and kinda wants 1100 for it when he puts it on Adverts! This is a problem, that guitar really should not be more than 800 as there is no guarantee on it or tax paid,so a fifth or so should immediately be slashed off it,if not more. Gibsons of course are different. Their buyers are middle aged well to do guys with good jobs who will pay over the odds for the right one. As its a vintage market,Gibson only go one way,up! BUT the messers are usually younger guitarists who simply don't have the funds and desperately want one but the cash ain't forthcoming.😂 There is no reason for a seller to sell his Schecter Omen for 700 if he paid 700 new,it simply won't sell. Gibson/Fender and to a lesser extent,Gretsch WILL SELL and have a fantastic secondhand resale value. I got my fair share of tyre kickers but l sat through the bullshit until a real offer arrives and you will know it. Usually few questions if any,just a solid offer,you have to bend but PATIENCE is key. I had a Musicman Petrucci which l thought would be a hard sell but a lad from Cork came up and bought it! Very good price for me too,if it can happen for an ultra niche guitar like a Petrucci you should have no issue selling Les Paul's,filter out the idiots,check their history and thumbs up,if satisfactory then respond. What are they anyway!? 😂

Best thing l did was put ONE up only,when that goes,then the next etc,make it look rare,like theres just one etc. And honestly forget it's up there until you will one day soon get a solid offer. Dont be in a rush to sell,they can smell it! And NEVER TRADE IN,you'll be getting the worst deal everytime.

@@IRISHguitarist777 Ha yeah they definitely packed some amount of gear in there, beautiful Jackson's and Hernandez guitars there too. It was one of the very few places in the country that you could get metal guitars. Even if they did have oddball opening hours 😂

I think it's amazing but kinda spooky too! And freezing. We went up there on an Autumn day and it was mild but up at the top it's ice cold! It was weird,like an ancient presence up there there,you can feel it in the air. It's some Hammer Horror shit!😄

@guitardan666 yep that true and when we were there , the crows were circling around us. The ancient stone is so amazing but I get what you mean about the airy feeling. The probably loved your music 🎶 maybe the presence was even rocking to it lol 💚

Yeah this came into Jimis store yesterday, Mick Ralphs played this guitar onstage and at home from 2003 til 2014 or so. Little buckle rash at the back but other than that it's completely pristine,it's a beautiful Lester for sure.
