Hey I need some help connecting the wires. So the red wire that’s with the video output connects together with the reverse light cable?
@terrywalters5410
@terrywalters5410 3 ай бұрын
Is the red wire on the back of your radio? If so it's an input and the wire from the reverse light goes into that activating the screen to allow the reverse camera video input to be shown

Wish I knew what this noise sounded like from the inside of the car. When going around 55 or higher on the highway I hear what sounds like a tapping noise in the rear of the car. Almost like something is tapping the windshield but nothing is. Originally I thought maybe the third brake light was but I tucked something in between it and still heard it. I checked where these clips are and their semi loose. Maybe it’s the issue I don’t know entirely

Nice video dude.. can you tell me what colour is the brake wire and maybe the 12 volt accessories wire? I'll appreciate it. Also, was your reverse cam lines properly centered? Mines a bit off ..like if I park right at the middle in between the parking lines.. on the camera lines there's a lot more space on the right
@terrywalters5410
@terrywalters5410 Жыл бұрын
As far as the camera not being centered you probably just need to bend it in the opposite direction a little bit? I'm assuming you have a metal camera frame that's different than the one I used in this video? I usually use just a regular test light and put the car in reverse to find the wire that has power. Accessory wire is usually found in the neck of the steering wheel just switch the key on and off till you find one of the bigger wires that light your test light. You might could Google those wire colors and find what you're looking for as well :-)

We have an 06 and I'm trying to locate the coolant temp sensor. I've removed the air intake and throttle body but don't see it, can't find any good videos on it or pictures. Would someone be able to point it out? The car is still giving us issues with not getting up to temp and blowing cold air, at idle will over heat. Over the past year we've replaced, heater core, the radiator, the thermostat twice and had a coolant flush done. Nothing has helped yet. I have the new sensor but can't find the location. If this don't work I hear it could be a compression issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These engines can be difficult to bleed the air out of the cooling system. I have an 07 rendezvous, and someone suggested I park it facing uphill at night, and raise the rad cap higher than the heater inlets on the firewall (I used a ramp). Using a spill-free funnel the morning after i replaced my ‘stat, I was able to get another 1/2-3/4 of a gallon of coolant in as it warmed up and cycled through, pushing the air bubbles out.
@Micscience
@Micscience 2 жыл бұрын
I believe this style cooling system the air comes out threw the resevour tank since it is probably just as high as the inlet and outlet hoses.
@gregorykusiak5424
@gregorykusiak5424 2 жыл бұрын
@@Micscience actually on mine the reservoir is higher than the rad cap. Unfortunately, air compresses more than liquid, so whatever bubbles are in the coolant system tend to get trapped in there, so giving them a few different places to exit when the system is open is usually best.
@Micscience
@Micscience 2 жыл бұрын
@@gregorykusiak5424 Yea same with mine however the inlet and outlet hoses of the heater core are around the same height of the reservoir. I still notice when using ramps it does a better job. You can see the bubles come up into the reservoir. i have a video of it.
