Hey man, the game opens and then closes right away without any mods, do you know a fix for that? right after the videos where the Dark Messiah name apears before any menu it closes the game, this happens with and without mods, can you please help me? I really wanna play this game, and another thing that was happening before this was an errer that said backgroundv1_widescreen.vtf cannot be found or something like that, I just copied another file with wide screen in it and named the first part backgroundv1 and then it opens the game like it did without mods but closes on the same screen which is the one right after videos with the game name EDIT: for anyone facing the same issue I got the thing fixed by not having it in compatibility mode in the compatibility tab (uncheck mark that in the properties tab you open from right clicking the desktop shortcut) and having the window as minimized in shortcut tab in properties and I also have the -novid typd in the target line in properties window as well, for now I can't get the movement mod to work even through I added it to the target line after -novid, Ill try some more EDIT2: the cfg files are not loading in, I found that the game gives me the backgroundv1_widescreen.vtf error if I have the gameinfo.txt edited to have the custom folder path and unlimited path, if I just use the normal file it doesn't give that error but it won't load the mods properly, for now I have the movement mod turn on by putting it in the cfg folder in mm folder and just open the console in the game and type exec movement.cfg (enable the console from option advanced settings)

I am still getting borked dialogue about him being king when I made Anora queen without him. Do I have to start a new game for these changes to take effect?

Now that Stardew Valley has updated to 1.6, how accurate is this information? Is there anything that you would change about, let's say the Essential files, or updates on mods that were a little problematic (ex: swimming mod) at the time of filming,? 6 years later, still the best tutorial for DAO on the web. The updated .exe for Steam is SUCH a lifesaver and I always return to this on a fresh install to double check I'm not forgetting any steps

Hi frosty, unfortunately when trying to run the updateaddinsxml and the servicesetup exe's in the redist folder now doesn't do anything. a new window appears but after the progress bar reaches halfway, it freezes and stops loading =/. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I tried deleting the redist folder and then using steam to verify integrity of game files, still no solution. is there something new we have to do to get the dlc back on the game? thanks in advance!

It's nothing major, but there's some black box glitching from time to time on the characters. I was wondering if this is from JB3 or some other graphical mod since we installed everything on it? Thanks so much. My game is runing great now. I was super confused when I first atempted to mod DAO. I'm an experianced modder with skyrim, I have over 300 Mods in it and it runs great using Mod Organizer 2. However, most other tutorials were telling me to put the mods directly in the game files. I knew that was a terrible idea. Your tutorial was simple and easy to follow for jeither an experianced person or someone new to modding.

I did everything exactly, but I can't start a game with the noble human. It only happens with that origin, since the others are working fine. Any suggestions?

BRUH, the Regen Binds is the *primary* reason to download this. Not only it makes magic not bloody useless fir once, but lets you have endless fun with shrinked army of goblin that you can launch around.

That memory fix fixed my save and allowed me to play with the mods I wanted to play with, I could not have gotten my DAO modded to run for the past 3 years I would always encounter some crash or error that i couldnt get past but you made it possible for me to enjoy the game with all the juicy player-content I always wanted to experience, thank you!
