Bow is not a Khmer bow, it is a prop with similar shape to Khmer bows from Huntingdoor the Tolui takedown bow

Amazing video, just a slight nitpick. The firelance you weild is a modern repro of 13th century one and that Europeans of the time had conical face visor thus offering better protection compared to the open faced helmets of the Mongols (Aiming for the face and what not). This is, however, half true. The hounskull visor would not see use until the 14th century as the pattern of helmet that it was mounted on can be dated to the late 13th century, the Bascinet. Typically, Knights of the period would use either some form of open faced protection like a skull cap or fully enclosed Great Helms. To your consolation, however, the Europeans did get to face a similar weapon enmasse, the Bohemian Pištala, during the Hussite wars. And this is during the time period where such visors were prevalent

Yes it’s a repro but it’s not a firelance anymore as there is no lance, and the 13th century we have written evidence of bullet and wadding. The lack of face armor is the logical place where I’d aim against a heavy lancer but if he is not wearing much armor I’d aim at the center mass. The body armor type would change the ammunition type from shot to single cannon ball, to guarantee more kinetic energy transfer

If you're going to talk about the Khmer Bow, maybe don't use a Mongol Bow as your prop? Failing that, maybe disguise the siyahs of the Mongol bow so you aren't confusing people.

He's using a Mongol bow as a stand in prop, without explaining that they're different. Khmer traditional bows don't have the string nocks in the siyahs. They either taper to a point, or have intricate (ceremonial) tips.
