I have just bought this today. but i don't know how to use it. i have down load your app. i put the mic with my macbook. and update to newer version. but then how to use it? it has 2 mic in a box. one to connect to my macbook and 1 to speak from a distance. but the one for speaking in distance is not working. when i hook that one to my macbook, it said battery is less than 15%. how to charge the battery? the sales person told me i can just charge to the wall. but there is no charger in the packaging. how can i charge it to the wall? Do you have video tutorial on how to use it? the light of connector indicator in one of the mic that hook to macbook is orange. and when i try to use it the voice is very low, the same as i didnt use any mic at all, just using macbook build in mic. Please help. i dont know how to use this. so confusing. i have look for online tutorial in youtube. and also look for your manual online. but its not not so clear on how to use it. please help.

What I want to see in a future firmware update is being able to have more then 2 transmitters "Paired" not "connected" so I can just grab either the Interview Pros or Wireless Go Transmitters, power on and they just connect to the Wireless go reciever.

This is the main thing I do on my channel! I've switched from another brand, to Wireless Go II, and now to Wireless Pro. I haven't been able to use the Wireless Pro in a super noisy setting yet, which is where I do most of my videos (close to the DJ booth, of all places). I don't think I'd be able to get the Interview Pro into the arena, so that's why I use the small units hahah.

Yes, agreed. Love the aesthetic of the company, love the vibe, I love the products, love the sound, but the incessant branding is overwhelming. It’s surprising because everywhere you look people make the same comment and yet they continue to put it as bold as they possibly can at least with the wireless pro they made it slightly more subtle which looked also more professional and polished I guess this is their best form of marketing at this point in time is to keep the brand out there so people keep it front of mind I don’t mind branding, but make it much more discreet, and subtle, not so loud and bold

Why I cannot connect my rode podmic to my iPhone 15 ?
@rodemic5 сағат бұрын
While the original PodMic isn't capable of connecting to mobile devices, you will need to use a PodMic USB with the included USB-C cable to connect to your iPhone 15. 2.4gh is terrible around other devices that use the same frequency. I bought the Rode Pro Wireless mics and they have so much interference in the recording due to other gear on location that uses 2.4gh. Can we please jump into the future and offer something that can at minimal scan for the best frequency?
@Chaymeleon20 сағат бұрын
It would be really hard to deliver a world-wide compatible device that scans for the best frequency. There are a lot of regulations regarding frequencies over the world. And you don't want them to switch to lets say 5 Ghz because the range will be terrible. I would say record locally when you use your mics and only transmit for monitoring.
@rodemic5 сағат бұрын
The 2.4GHz frequency band is quite wide, so if you are experiencing interference, you are likely you are in a highly dense wireless environment. The Internal recording feature is a great workaround when recording in these environments 😊 in any case however, we do appreciate your thoughts and suggestion!

Built-in batteries make Interview PRO mic no go-as many other Rode mics with built-in batteries. There is no logical or rational reason to make such a huge gadget not to have removable batteries. It's amazing how Rode pollutes our planet by constantly forcing users into mics with built in batteries that significantly shorten products lifespan just because the battery inside degrades. Rode stopped being good company. Rode should be more friendly to the only planet we have and to the users. Removable batteries are the only way.

A little disappointed that you've left people with all-important phone cases out in the cold on this one. I have one on mine (need to protect a $2k investment) and the mic won't plug straight into the USB-C port. I have to remove the phone's hard case to get the connection required, and for me and my phone and the places I take it, that's _no bueno._ I'm looking at the Saramonics alternative, which looks like it has the added plastic 'stand-off' (extension) mounted at the base of the connector, to give the mic that extra bit of necessary connection depth. I've bought from Rode in the past and been happy with the products, but it looks like you haven't done your homework on this. I hope you can use this feedback to improve.

This would just be the raw audio directly from the PodMic USB! Every voice is different which is why you are possibly receiving a different result. Some great tips would be to use a pop filter to soften the sibilance in your voice and utilizing an EQ on the harsh frequencies or De-Esser for more control 😊

Do we need to have a mic output on a fader? Coming from the GoXLR and we just set it and forget it, and we had the ability to use the cough button for muting, either set to hold or a toggle. Can we do the same with the Rodecaster? This made it where we didn’t lose a fader to the mic, if that makes sense
@rodemic3 күн бұрын
It will need to be on a fader to be accessed, though you can set it onto one of the digital faders to leave one of the physical faders available for another channel!

I wish you offered 2 more options: 1. Wireless PRO kit without lavaliers. 2. A compact 32-bit recorder with timecode based on Wireless PRO technologies, i.e. a box ideally with 2-channel mic input (2 Neutriks, and/or one 3.5 TRS stereo), 32-bit internal recording, and mic (with timecode) and headphone out, for on-camera 32-bit recording.

Best and simplest method ever The clapper is better than claps cause in the audio graphs and file it’s very explicit and fast so it’s even better to sync more accurately while a clap have a longer attack so it’s slightly less accurate to sync! So prefer anything that is similar to clapper that the sound is fast!

1) How is 32 bit float enabled ? Is it auto enabled while recording or we need to enable 32 bit float through any software. 2) Which DAW do you recommend for Rode NT1 5th Gen. Moreover, can this mic be directly connected with mobile C port and used with Smule or other singing apps through mobipe device?
@rodemic6 күн бұрын
While DAWs are completely up to you, as long as it can accept external microphones via USB it should be fine! With regards to 32-bit float, all you will need to do is install the ASIO driver (which will allow you to select 32-bit float) and connect the microphone via USB 😊
