I CANT TELL U HOW MANY CARS IVE HAD TO INFORM CUSTOMER THAT PREVIOUS INSTALLED WINDSHIELD NOT PRIMED AT ALL AND NOW FULL OF RUST. DONT BE CONFUSED BY PRIMER FOR GLASS. This is a metal primer to cover damaged paint ( scratches only) and once applied it develops a hard protective shell that etches onto metal and paint. Absolutely stops bare metal from rusting. If done correctly, it stops rust from starting. Bet that within 2 years rust will start to creep from under the glass and out towards the finished paint. 3 years window leaking. If u live in snow belt where rock salt used or next ocean, expect rust sooner. I was afraid u wasn’t going to prime metal/ paint damage. Btw u didn’t need to install gravity stops back on glass. But it’s ok until glue drys sufficiently
