Tuned with KNS feels like a 22 recoil wise. Over gassed = reliable in all conditions, minus suppressed.

Just shoot it stock. These ridiculously priced "upgrades" from a vet company is nuts. Save your money. Just buy an AR if you want a robust rifle.

Palm mags are trash, IMO. I've had several problems with them feeding (and just even fitting) my Mak-90 and ZPAP M70. I think I would honestly take the South Korean junk ahead of Palm. My favorite mag would be the bakelites that I have on display. I just love bakelite. Don't know why, but I do. My favorite mags to actually use are the Bulgarian Circle 10, East German steel, and then pretty much any reputable surplus steel. I have a couple of "new" Croatian mags. Haven't had a problem with them. I would always take the Yugo surplus over them just because I know they'll work, but I'd take a new Croatian mag over a Palm, Unity or South Korean all day, everyday. Also, I haven't heard much of anything about Albanian mags. I'll have to buy one and try it out, I suppose.

I ordered the Sig mag well for mine, initially, and had nothing but issues with it. Jam-o-matic is the term I use. I was looking to make a trade of one of my other handguns to get a Glock handgun anyways so my issues with the Homesteader sort of accelerated that decision. I swapped my Sig SP2022 with a G47 and ordered several mags from Magpul. I took the Homesteader with the Glock mag well to the range today, put 300+ rds through it and it runs flawlessly now. I guess there's a reason most of the reviews for this firearm are with the Glock mag well. Maybe someone out there had a positive result with the Sig/S&W mag well but from my experience, don't waste your time. Even if you don't own a Glock but want this firearm, get some Glock mags as they're pretty affordable anyways, the Magpul Glock mags even more so.

I have posted this on a few reviews, but I have come to definitely see a place for the .380. I have handguns in multiple calibers, but have decided to go with .380 primarily for self defense purposes in the future. I live in an apartment and feel like the .38O is a good choice for home defense because it allows me to adequately defend myself while at least somewhat reducing the risk of harm to neighbors due to over penetration. A bigger .380 with a rail is ideal. As far as carry goes, I would prefer the simplicity of a small revolver or semiauto in a pocket holster.

The premier PCC competition gun, but very pricy. I wonder if you could build an AR PC C of similar quality for less? The next step down would probably be a JP gmr 15 that starts around 1800, but after picking options would be 2400-2600. Next maybe the Sig MBX PCC for about 2k.

I have a BCA AR10 in .308 with a 20in barrel. You have to put an adjustable gas block on it. They are way over gassed. That and a good three chamber brake and now it's like a 5.56 kick.

Something folks should know. I just bought one of these Beretta A300 Patrols for $899 and when it arrived did not have the shell carrier Velcro or chokes. In fact it wasn’t threaded for chokes. I found out the hard way there is a LE model that comes sans Velcro, spare shell carrier, and chokes. Pay attn to details before you buy.

Mine shoots sub MOA groups with 180 grain winchester powerpoints. Great cheap little rifle

I’m still waiting for someone to compare the MCX LT to other piston “quick barrel change” rifles in regards to barrel flex. It’s always a comparison to an M4, usually a cost comparable model that has a 2-2.5” long barrel nut, that also can’t quickly change barrels. I’d do it, but I don’t have f-u money.
