My old corsa died before xmas & was looking at motability but doesn't seem worth it to just use a couple of times a week & on searching cars came across one of these smart cars 2003 at a real bargain but really unsure due to mixed reviews. So this has definitely helped and would be great to have as a run around while I save for a newer model. Just wanted to ask how are these on cost as in repairs/parts...thanks! Nice to drive, quiet and smooth, good boot space, seats are quite comfy. Interior cheap and flimsy, coolant issues, noisy gearbox at about 64k miles and was getting jammed in 1st and 5th, then an issue with the engine come up that could not be repaired. So i gladly got rid of it at 70k miles ish. Pretty nice looking exterior though.

I've owned three of these and am about to buy another. The turbo actually pushes the 700cc along like a rocket, although it lags a bit at take off. The post 2007 has a 1 litre engine but lacks the turbo.
