Oh wow! Tina is quite a lady. Instead of walking away and dismissing the fan (who I am sure wasn't supposed to be there), she extended her hand to her and allowed her to hold it - girl, God sure took his time with you.

I am a man at 51 and I am here because of her looks. She looked incredibly fine at 50. Her hair......VERY nice!

I never gave ike enough credit. He oozes soul. Man had a vision, and was making it reality. Big dreams and a big imagination with an even bigger ego. Drugs and alcohol was only a crutch for the toxicity.

It's a shame Tina never did a whole acoustic album of her songs. It would've been frikkin' amazing.

Tina Turner is smart, witty, just listen to how she answers those questions! The gentleness, but strong woman that she is. Tina is cleverly amusing and so much more. I could go on forever about this Grand Lady, but then there's not enough time to describe her. I love everything about her,and there will never ever be another Tina Turner ❤ Thank God for allowing the world to be given the opportunity to meet and witness her greatness 🙏🏽 Really miss her soooooo much ❤

I dont think the interviewers had seen many interviews Tina did to know what questions to ask her. Donnie asked her why she wasnt wearing a skirt. Shes said before the sex appeal thing wasn't her thing. It just came. She only wore short dresses because she could move better to dance.

Im glad to hear this. Even though its a little frustrating to hear them keep interrupting her i dont think they meant any harm by it and I think Tina thouht that too. They had a very limited time to talk to her so they had to ask whatever they could in that few minutes. Tina seemed to still be having fun during the interview so if she had fun I am too. Glad to hear this

Women's liberation, the eras women rights movement, was barely off the ground during H.Sqrs. airings. Women were still stigmatized by seen as second class citizens under men. Particularly in Hollywood executive culture. Ike Turner wasn't publicly known to be abusive till many years later. Women were seen as trouble makers or liars then if they openly complained about abuse. These rare videos of Ms. Turner are treasures. Members of the same Hollywood culture kept Paul Lynn from becoming a rising star and appearing in motion pictures.
