In my opinion I think one of the major reasons why there is hugh decline in Church attendance is because people come into Church and a few engage in shallow small talk with 1 or 2 people and go to their seat and hear a sermon sing songs and then after the closing prayer smile at people as their leaving and get into their cars and leave and do the same thing Sunday after Sunday year after year and for the vast majority of Americans for this reason going into a Church is of no interest to them. I have been a Christian for over 50 years and attended Church every Sunday and still have not made one friend. The non-Christian western world would rather get together with their friends at clubs and sit with their friends and socialise watch a ball game on the club tv screen with their friends and cheer when their team gets a score while eating tacos than go inside a Church and see all these people they don't know standing next to each other in the lobby engaging in small talk and then go inside and hear people sing songs and hear a man talk and more singing and everyone gets up and smiles at each other while there is music playing and everyone gets into their car and leaves. My family members would rather get together with their friends on a gulf course and socialise and get together for birthdays, holidays and have done so for decades and formed close friendships with them then go inside a Church and experience what I experience at Church.

There are 3 keys to living the Christian life. 1. Humility 2. Humility 3. Humility

God is against religion. Just so you know. Remember. Religious leaders and Rome killed him.

The full context of the Ezekiel passage regarding Sodom…. As I live,” says the Lord God, “neither your sister Sodom nor her daughters have done as you and your daughters have done. Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty and committed abomination before Me; therefore I took them away as I saw fit. Ezekiel‬ ‭16‬:‭48‬-‭50‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Read the last verse…. Indeed, GOD “took them away” for the abomination they committed before him. It was not the sin of “sharing” as insinuated by this preacher. And after such a world and man -centric message with an idol focus on money, this preacher, almost like an afterthought, squeaks in the Gospel, and even that not without a slant towards this eisogetic teaching. May GOD have mercy on those in attendance and grace them to seek truth and correctly interpret and apply the James passage.

Brother David. Here’s a ginormous blind spot for you. One that has you completely oblivious to the call of the Gospel. You espouse to critical race theory. You have gone full-on woke. You devolved James 5 (here) just as you devolved and misrepresented Amos 5 (in a 2018 sermon at some CRT conference) to insinuate racism as the focal sin within society and in the Church. Repent and ask GOD to remove this blind spot in your life which is quenching (removing) the Power of the HOLY SPIRIT from your speech and deportment. You should step down.

The Sovereignty of GOD. I pray that all at McLean Bible who are in the LORD JESUS CHRIST hold on to the truth of this message, knowing and trusting that GOD’s Will will, indeed, be done no matter what evil men may do, no matter what divisive idolatrous notions or creeds or teachings are exalted above or alongside Holy Scripture. FORGIVE MY SINS JESUS SAVE MY SOUL. MAYBE.... TELL THEM ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR DISOBEDIENCE????? THEY HAVE TO START WHERE THEY ARE AT... FIRST....
