@@user-rh4fm3uy7w as I said in the description, there are just 13 active Lockheed Electras in 2024. Just because you saw one doesn't mean they aren't rare. Not to mention, there are no active Electras anywhere in the US, so you would have seen either a C-130 Hercules or a P-3 Orion.

Northwest Airlines Minneapolis, Minnesota used to have these in their fleet before Delta Airlines purchased NWA. I flew 1st class on the Avro RJ85 (MSP) to (STL) I loved their little RJ85 Bird.

When they had a Purolator contract, KFC used to fly them all over Eastern Canada. In and out of Toronto constantly. The pilots flying them logged tons of hours.

Kelowna Flightcraft still has a Purolator contract, this aircraft is operating flights on behalf of Purolator. You're probably thinking of the old KF Aero DC-10s and maybe the 727s too. These birds did fly to Hamilton.

@@Ykaspotter I stand corrected, yes Hamilton was a main destination for the Convair. Knew a handful of pilots that flew for them, but that was decades ago. I did the bulk of my flight training at YKA, have a real soft spot for that airport.
