I don't know if Amanda Bynes ever trained in dance but this shows she had some natural moves and rhythm to add to her other talents. I really pray she heals 🙏 And the young guy does an amazing james brown impression 😊

It is still a good "G" movie which was a lovely movie for family to watch together. Loved Amanda Bynes and wished her life had turned out better after that movie. At least she is doing better I gather. Wishing her a lot of good fortune.

A couple unrealistic things about this movie: A: in real life the dad would leap up there and pull her off stage and scream at her B: how does this father have his ex wife’s number after 17 years of not being in contact and suddenly remembers her and calls her the day or two after daphne arrives C: you can’t make it that close to the gate of a palace or even cross over in real life without being arrested or reprimanded by police

Hannah Schaffer - First, he was embarrassed. Second, she was a stranger to him. Daphne was in his life since a few days earlier, and no one behaves so aggressively to a stranger they just met, who is also his daughter. Thirdly, he’s a politician. Everyone there knows who he is. If the audience around him learned right there that she’s his daughter, or if he just started being aggressive to this stranger having fun onstage, it would’ve caused a scandal early on. Edit: He didn’t even know he had a daughter. And she was what, 18? If a legally adult daughter, whom you didn’t know you had, suddenly came to meet you, a father in real-life would be like Henry. *No one behaves aggressively to a stranger they **_just met_** who is also their daughter* And he doesn’t seem like the kind of man who would yell at their child. He doesn’t even seem like someone who has anger issues unless he’s pushed over the edge/the line was crossed. (I have a father who, when I was younger, didn’t mind smacking me on the head or punishing me with no dinner. Even after my disability, he didn’t mind leaving me in the care of a rather incompetent older sister who couldn’t lift me an inch off the couch, and I can’t walk at all or even sit up straight because of my disease. My younger sister, who actually can take care of me properly, was sick with the flu. I was forced to apologize the next morning, or my Dad wouldn’t let me get a shower. I had to sleep all night uncomfortably.) Couldn’t people back in 2003 get a person’s contact information?
