Why chinatown stalls always have to be tacky, flimsy, rundown, chaotic, dirty and full of graffiti , i know Chinese are like this, and dont care ,but please dont promote it as a tourist destination, it is embarrassing.

Soi Cowboy was one of the places I had heard about, but never been. I finally went and was really disappointed. Coke for 180 baht and lady drinks for 280. I don't mind buying drinks but I'm not paying 280. I'd rather go to a different place and buy 4 girls drinks for 150 each. Besides they appreciate it a lot more.

@@michelerenem You think not paying the equivelant of $8.00 for a can of coke, Or $10 to $12 for a lady drink is being cheap. You must be very rich then. There is a difference from being cheap and being stupid, You didn't seem to notice that I would have bought more drinks at a reasonable price which would have cost me more money. Maybe I'm just cheap. By the way the place was empty. So I was probably not the only one.

I was in Thailand this summer. Great place very cheap, but it can be lonely for some older men. If you retire there that's great. But also make some friends who are not in the bar scene. Giving your money to a cute girl so she will drink a beer with you can add up fast. I assure you there are alot of good guys from US, UK, and AU who'd love to network with you

Few cases of dengue epidemy and I see evreybody going away of Gilis . Finally my girlfriend gone to hospital for 3 days and because so tired ,she came back to Europa quickly after going out of a modern hospital but unable to heal people . Be sure to have a lot of antibodies for fighting LOMBOK fevers . Good luck !
