Would you ever call an 8 week old baby - virtually a new born - 'naughty'? It's not a naughty pup! It's a normal cute little pup who clearly hasn't got a mom. Poor thing. 'The definition of insanity is trying the same thing again and again and expecting different results'. Mama says "no", "no", "no", "no"....I say an 8 week old puppy probably hasn't mastered English that well. Obviously you've turned it into a game rather than discouraged him. I think "It's Me Or The Dog" expert would recommend you quietly pull away and then ignore and turn away from the puppy. And if it repeats the offense you put it into a 'quiet' place for a minute or so or put a muzzle on it for a short while, the idea not to punish but to discourage the behaviour. It'll soon stop and when it does you give the puppy lots of affirmation, hugs, treats. It's not a naughty pup. I don't think you're a crap doggy mum but I do think humans are stupid. :D
