What a cool video, you chose very interesting places. :) That letter sending place seems like such a good idea, I'd love to do something like that, I instantly put it on my list of things to do if I'll be able to visit Japan, it'd be such a fun thing to do maybe mid or at the end of the stay to reflect on everything. :) And don't even start me on "techo" lol I love stationery so much and planners also, and Japanese planners are so good. I don't even have much to plan and the few things I plan I do it in Google calendar, but it doesn't stop me every year coveting some planners, I'm subscribed to the Hobonichi newsletter and I check every new release. LOL So that library would be nice place to visit too.

If you visit Tokyo, Loft, Itoya, and Kyukyodo are are good place to find stationery. Of the three, Itoya is my favorite. Two buildings of stationeries and art supplies! Jiyucho has great service and they have no problem accommodating foreigners (I asked when I visited). The space is small so it’s better to make a reservation.

The live streamer story is heart-breaking. The guy was so depressed and had such a miserable life, He had just beaten cancer and finally felt happy but he was very foolish to do what he did and died a terrible death.

Thank you for the informative video. We were there in Hakone Japan last week, and we purchased the Hakone 2 days freepass from Shinjuku station. What a disappointing trip that was. It doesn't matter if two or three days pass once you return back to Shinjuku station, the freepass cannot be reused again. In our case the station staff took away our two-day pass which was only used for one day. He said it is done. We were shocked and confused. He showed us a brochure of the Hakone freepass with a fine print that said, "The Hakone Freepass (including those valid for multiple days) cannot be used after returning to your departure station." We gave up arguing after we read that. Basically, the freepass is encourages people to stay in Hakone to fully benefit from it. Which I don't mind at all if I knew this information beforehand, I could plan the trip differently. We can't believe this kind of thing will happen in Japan. The whole entire trip in Japan was only positive until this happened. Read the fine print.

I had no idea this place exists but now I definitely need to go! It looks so cosy and not too overrun.

It does get a bit crowded, especially Haikara Yokocho, but not too much that you can’t breathe. The atmosphere is chill, no one’s in a hurry and people are just taking their time to browse the shops.

I'm going to Takayama on 28/04/24. Just wonder if they drill sale this discount ticket at Takayama Nohi Bus Center? Can I buy it online?

You've already visit Shirakawago last month right..?? Were you able to use that discounted ticket though..??
@Mizhelle2 ай бұрын
Hi, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to reply to this in time. But I'm leaving this here for others who are curious. Currently, this is the set ticket written on their website: www.nouhibus.co.jp/english/shirakawa-gokayamapass/ It's likely that they prepare different set or discount tickets every fiscal year, and I'm not sure as to how much they update their website, so it's really best to just go to the counter at Nohi Bus and ask the staff.
@MyNTran2 ай бұрын
I went there last month and couldn't find your discount package. However, at Takayama Nohi Bus Centre, they have Day Tour to Shirakagawo and Ainokura villages for ¥8,000. Tour guide speaks Japanese and very good English. Tour starts at 8.30 am and finishes at 4pm at Takayama Nohi Bus Centre

Thank you so much for this story, I currently am working towards my bachelors in psychology in America and have heard from research that malpractice can be awful in Japan due to there not being a law in place to regulate therapy/counseling :( I hope to one day work as a psychologist in Japan, and am trying to learn as much as I can!
