If you have too much experience, then it is discrimination. File a complaint. Also, how what is your attire when you go to the interview? Alot of this generation do NOT show up dressed professionally to an interview. Business casual is good. Do you put down your social media links on the application? If so, that may very well be your whole problem. Why not go ahead an open up your own children care center again? You have experience. Best to you.

Hunny listen I would have told her if you have to follow me to each and every room that I go in you can go in there and do it yourself. Once thing about assisted living you don’t need to people in the room regardless if you supervisor or not. Better you than me cause hunnty, she woulda been doing that work herself cause I woulda turned around and went somewhere else.

Staffing agencies sucks, they’ll tell you what you want to hear. And do the totally opposite, they’ll tell you that you have the job. Or that you can come back. Then be having you looking stupid, dumb founded, come to find out you didn’t get the job.

Legally it is every other weekend and holidays off. It's not your fault that they're short staff. Perhaps they paid more hourly they wouldn't be short. You need to address the issue again in person and have your proof just in case shit goes down.

Thank you for sharing. These jobs are something else now. They take advantage even more because they know the ball is in their court now. People are struggling to get a job so they know they can try to treat us any type of way. You have to self-advocate as you are doing, or these companies will run all over you. Good luck.

Yep I recall I had a job that worked me on every holiday because I was low seniority, but they paid me well for double double plus time and a half, the down fall I missed out being with my family on holidays, but that check looked mighty nice
