You should of used some black sikaflex, to stop water penetrating under the edges. Yes it will eventually get under, and then the sticky film is useless.

It's stunning, do the manapouri to West arm boat, go across to deep cove, then head to te anau, do the glowworm caves tour, enjoy the boat over the lake, or jump on a float plane for the epic scenery then head thru to Milford sounds, stunning area, I'm lucky enough to be born in the area and get paid to work there...

too nice, shooting fish (cray) in a barrel there bud, just saying, can you repeat that nearer to Nelson he asks provocatively.... Is that a Maori Chief at 1.42?, Septa in the rare anemone? Cup coral maybe?... Black corals so cool, freshwater layer makes day dive look like its at night... way cool.

Suggest you add keywords to your video descriptions so that the You Tube search algorithm will find your videos for folk doing searches. For example #NewZealandfishing,#NewZealandspearfishing #NewZealandfamilyfishing, #NewZealanddeerhunting. Etc.. Plus vids over 16 minutes are a good length for advertising inserts = more revenue. Pad out the Fjordland one abit with a map plus scenic stuff about the Fjords. Plus a bit of dialogue by yours truly.

cheers for the feedback mate, will keep that in mind for next time. I have to admit, this was a bit of a throw together as I was stuck at home with the flu so went through some old footage, this was never really destined to be an actual video

This was midday mate! Fiordland is a deep dark place, there is a layer of about 5m of freshwater that is stained like tea from all the tannins in the run off, so it block out most of the light at depth

@@SteadliestCatch Bluefin gurnards are known to be quite vocal when captured, emitting loud grunts.[5] Although referred to as "vocalisation", sounds are not actually made through laryngeal mechanics but are thought to be produced by contracting pairs of intrinsic sonic muscles in the swim bladder. The growling sound is a nocturnal vocalisation emitted at night and singly, whereas the grunts is produced when the animals are grouped. Grunts sounds last 0.2 seconds and can be heard without any advice, their frequency range are from 250 to 300 Hz.[25] The fish is believed to be the loudest species in the family Triglidae.[23] A study of a captive female red gurnard and discovered four separate types of sound it can produce in two separate aural categories: grunt and growl. Its vocalizations were heard every hour around the clock with increases at dawn and dusk, and growls were made at night. The sounds were not found to be associated with feeding activity and in this setting were unlikely to be distress. The vocalizations may indicate associations with reproductive state as they are known to make the most noise during breeding season and generally are "likely to be significant contributors to [the] ambient underwater soundscape."[26] Super interesting
