Beautiful trains, beautifully shot. Was that a Heisler I saw on the siding? They are very rare and expensive these days. I was lucky enough to pick up the Bachmann Heisler new at a reasonable cost (no more than $400) during the original production run. My only regret is that by the time I had the money for one, the only version still available had outside frames on the trucks. Really changes the look of the locomotive. I've never seen - outside of photos - a real Heisler with outside frames, but I guess the more recognizable look with the inside frames sold out first. Thanks for making this beautiful video.

I’ve always loved those REA passenger cars. I have them in a couple different road names. They look really good with the LGB Forney!

Barry passed away a number of years ago.

@@tdehan sorry to hear that. I visited him in his shop somewhere near Vegas. That would have been late 90’s. The BBT drive is spectacular.

Unbelievable i found this. My dad was in the jolly rogers and competed at many of these events. Cliff Steering, Poke, Farwell, all were family friends and attended picnics at our home. Thanks for great memories. Made my day!

Do Russians want of any war? Recall a state of holy sadness after all The silence soars over tilths and fields And at the poplars and birch trees Just shall you ask those veterans Those fallen now lying under trees And their sons would say to you - Whether the Russians Whether the Russians Whether the Russians, want war. Not only for that own land They were then killed because of war Being sure that all the people in the world Not gonna sleep with war nightmares overall Just shall you ask those veterans Who gave you hugs at Elbe meet, - And the allegiance to the memory we keep Whether the Russians Whether the Russians Whether the Russians, want war? Yes, we are successful in the fight But do not want to see again The soldiers who fell down due combats Forever got embraced with bitter land Just shall you ask all mothers' mind At least just ask the soldier's wife This way you should forever understand Whether the Russians Whether the Russians Whether the Russians, want war. He'll understand: a docker, fisherman The day laborer, businessman That shall be understood by any folk Whether the Russians Whether the Russians Whether the Russians, want war.
