Serious question, are the questions on the actual test that obvious? I feel like some of the questions are common sense and not challenging.

The questions are great and really appreciated but the music in the background gets loud and intense at times and almost becomes a distraction in parts. More gentle background music would be more conducive to a study mode and less distracting

Mr. Bell Question Re run away LGBTQ youth due to family rejection. The youth called social worker for help. The answer is providing service for LGBTQ supporting shelter. But the client is a minor. Can we make a care plan without parents or legal guardian ??? This is sticky question. What if the youth's parents attack social worker with litigation things ???😅

Okay, this question doesn't make sense. Social Workers cannot recommend medications. Always rule out medical because she could have an infection.

1. Social workers could make whatever recommendation they want as long as it's ethical and benefits the client 2. Social workers can't prescribe medications 3. Did the question mention that the client has a medical issue to "rule out" Do not add anything to the question, or for sure, you're more than likely to answer it incorrectly

@@gilbertmbell_llc Thanks for responding. 1. I answered the question correctly 2. The question did not state to my knowledge because I didn't review again, that the patient had a medical issues. The patient did have a presenting/new issue in a medical setting. A social worker cannot, and I have to repeat, Cannot make a recommendation for medication because we are not licensed to do so, and as stated, cannot prescribe meds. It is unethical to make a recommendation for meds, given the elderly can have a change in mental status due to infection. That is a fact. I work in the medical field, I know. The question did not make sense even if the response was correct. The response that should have been included was, "Refer to medical." You want to rule out medical, and it is the Prescriber/MD who can correctly diagnosed a patient in the medical setting. Nursing home patient, medical issue, new/presenting issue while in a medical setting, rule out medical/refer to MD. That is the correct response. Yes, I did read into it because someone taking the actually exam could see a similar question on the exam and think this is best practice when it is not. A UTI can cause a change in mental status. It happens all the time. 3. I wasn't being smart. It didn't align with practice. 4. Your questions are helpful, but this one is not what we should do in a medical setting. No pont intended.
