24mm socket didn’t work in my case, and although the filter cap has “25” written on it, only a 27mm fit correctly 😮

Never use a metal tool to slip a new O Ring onto the oil filter!! Even a slight nick will ruin it's function!

Масляной стакан у некоторых моделей стоит UFI коричневого цвета без внутреннего клапана в стержне самого стакана, поэтому именно фильтр должен быть с клапаном. А чëрного цвета стакан HENGST как на видео идет фильтр без клапана, так как клапан есть в стержне стакана. Имейте ввиду что на колпаке UFI коричневого цвета написан артикул фильтра для HENGST.

I put 5 quarts of oil after emptying out the old oil as shown in the video and it spilled out 😭😭 I had to re add oil but I only added about 3 quarts and a half.

Should remove filter housing and replace used oil filter with drain plug still removed otherwise not guaranteed to drain all of the oil from both the housing and oil pan due to back pressure so I'd recommend leaving drain plug out and complete your process with oil filter and then last thing before lowering car should be putting that drain plug back in and securing it along with double checking the filter housing as well and making sure it is also secure. FYI, Looks like you may have replaced it with the wrong oil filter. If so, your oil is not being properly filtered and your engine could suffer premature wear. The trax can have a hengst filter housing or a UFI (PF2263G). It’s labeled on the oil filter cap. I noticed that the filter you removed looked like it had a spring on it (UFI) but the one you replaced it with did not (Hengst). They seem interchangeable but functionally, they are not.

Thats the original filter for the trax maybe the one you talking about is the trax for 2020 the oil filter for 2020 have spring

CAN YOU MAKE IT actually mine is a 2017 built in Korea and it uses the UFI filter that has the spring. It actually seems quite random so it’s best to check your oil filter cap to make sure you use the right filter. Regardless of the model year, some will have Hengst oil filter housings and some will have UFI.
