I think is just because the context, hakuno just presented itself as a reliable worker with a bit more knowledge of the what going on here while Fujimaru just got here. I think they gonna be equals that rely on the other in what they are experts, Hakuno rely on Fuji for Draco, and Fuji gonna rely on him here for all the extra stuff around.

Hakuno is a more experienced master in general and someone who’s been doing this for longer. Guda and Hakuno are equal in master-ness, but Hakuno is by definition a veteran while Guda is still newer to it. Hakuno can teach Guda many things, especially concerning forming bonds with servants like Mash, Eresh, Melt, etc. Hakuno is used to that sort of thing, while Guda is used to being someone who gets along with nearly everyone. They’re equals but Hakuno is the “senior” while guda is the “junior” due to the difference in time spent as masters.

Hakuno is their senior in both being a master and protagonist. No ifs ands or buts.

Guda has been dealing for literal years with an array of all kinds of monsters, so by this point is an absolute veteran himself and not just a kouhai for kishinami. Enlighten me how for how long hakuno has been fighting, cuz I don't remember being that long of a period (might be wrong on this one). What I know for certain is that guda has already long surpassed hakuno in both the threats he faced and the number of servants he is dealing with. Wtf is hakuno gonna teach to a guy that is dealing with literal hundreds of servants? (only real exceptions would be bb, Nero, tamammo and the sakura 5). Like he knows mash or eresh better than fujimaru, please. I can feel your bias for extra either because you like it more or because it is an older tm work than fgo. Older tm protag (in the meta sense) is not necessarily better than newer protagonist.

I think Eresh is definitely the heroine of the summer but OC3 has to be BB. She is THE Moon Cancer. No one else would work as the heroine.

She is supposed to have a unique servant class, but because FGO is a gacha we get others thrown in too. Making a story about Moon Cancer's without BB being the central character is just not possible. While there are events that allow their arbitration exclusivity to come to a cease. They are beings that should only respond in times of crisis, similarly to Grand Servants.”

It might be less about actually protecting humans and more protecting “the end”. She’s a goddess of the underworld and by extension death - in the servant universe, humans have all overcome death entirely, and as such Ereshkigal has been left alone with nobody to keep her company in the underworld. So naturally, as a Beast, that is what she seeks to prevent. Out of love for humanity, wanting them to be safe and comfortable in her underworld, she will ensure that everyone can still die, and that humanity will never, ever reach the point where they could surpass death and leave her behind. This is just a guess, based on Eresh’s role and profile, plus the comments made here. It doesn’t matter how nice and happy humans are. Once they stagnate, it’s game over. And a humanity that never progresses to overcome death and never progresses to leave Earth would, no matter how happy they were, be considered stagnant, and the timeline would then be pruned by Alaya.

@@INCOGNITO-iq4qy no it didnt depend on gender. It was a choice before their appereance "He or She" options appeared right before hakuno shows up and thats what decides their gender in that moment.

It’s entirely likely that she’s got a scheme going on that requires she not devour Passionlip. Or BB somehow sealed her ability to use insect eater. Most likely the former.

Difference between Kama and Eresh is that Kama actively tried to become a fully grown Beast. Eresh just one day became it.
