In regard to my previous comment @ "zeroing," if reality was the intent, the center dot should've been the more accurate reference. I kinda' missed the point initially. IRL, Given all the ballistics variables, there's no way the bullet impact aligns perfectly with the aiming point a lot of the time. You probably understand this better than a lot of us, given your military service, probably having zeroed your M-4 multiple times, right? But then again, you WERE in the Air Force! lol Just kidding, thanks for your service, from an ARMY vet!

The scope alignment issue MAY be legit because the laser is side mounted. IRL, the laser and center pink dot would only align perfectly at the range the weapon is "zeroed." That's the only point at which the laser and bullet trajectory would bisect. I wonder if at extreme ranges the laser appears to the left of the center dot? If so, that's some serious in-game "reality!" For under barrel mount lasers, the laser would appear above or below the center dot, again, depending on the range (except at the "zeroed" range). Zat too nerdy?!? lol

What's crazy is I use the Kar Iron sight, which is more ridiculous than any scope. I even have a pistol grip and handstop on there and it rips people off of headies, close range is just stupid.

With how fast the ttk is I don’t see the benefit in flinch resistance. By the time I’m hit with a bullet I’m shredded before I can react.

When will we get back to having long range ARs/LMGs that can run optics while staying competitive? I'm so sad that we haven't had a solid AR/LMG that can effectively use a scoped optic in forever except the DG-58 but that got ruined. I don't hate snipers or the Kar 98 but the BV is so bad and so are ARs WITH scopes.

I think the mtz (and almost all other weird side to side shake guns) aren't horizontal recoil issues. I've got a pretty steady mtz build running the spiritfire as well as several others that are kinda of known for that weird pattern. It took some figuring out, not unlike when you let us all in on the firing aim stability, but you have to build for reduced aiming idle sway. If you do that recoil pattern on the firing range wall again, then just ADS at the center, my experience was the assuming idle sway pretty much exactly moves to the sides the same distances as the farthest left and right recoil pattern shots, or at least mostly, not quite 1:1. I was going crazy with horizontal recoil builds to try to kill it with very little effect, but build with some extra idle sway and it mellow it out a lot.
