Very nifty way to organize and record your ink swatches! I haven’t done much in terms of in depth ink swatching and properties of every ink yet, so that’s something I’ve yet to come up with - my own style and then sharing it. But this was really nice to see! Thanks for sharing your style!

My friend, Thanks for your comment....I have a condition , where I want to put (hoard ) all the info I can , on the smallest paper , possible..LOL 😅 😂 🤣 I'm always growing new ways, to do this fountain pen & ink, record keeping...I've still got to put more info on my swatches. LOL I will keep an eye open, for your techniques on ink swatching, and see what I can tweek with mine. Create a Great day , my friend.

@@kanzee5940 not you “love-ing” your own comment! 😂 I was thinking of my own way to organize and put as much information into the page for all my inks. Your small piece of paper will not be enough haha!!! I’ve just bought some iroful paper for the first time and they seem to be the perfect size to record inks and I think I’ll make a DYI ink binder as well! ;) thanks for the inspiration.

Oh, it was this video, Kanzee!!! XD I see, you answered the 8 questions in your description box! I was confused at first that I didn't hear the answers in the video, but i see them now. I see you like demonstrator pens and not the fancy barreled pens like your friends do! 😆😅🤣😉 Every journey is different, I appreciate hearing about your current journey in fountain pens. I like that you're exploring and having fun with inks right now with affordable pens. I assume you've looked into TWSBIs already as they hold a lot of ink and are demonstrators. Those should be great for you down the line if you don't already have some.

Thank you @KenchanKrafts , for your comment . Your absolutely correct ... Most of my FPPs (Fountain Pen Pals) Are far ahead of me , on this Nib & ink journey ..I am only 4 months old...still a babe and proceeding with caution..lol 🫡 I like choosing my own direction with the Nib & inks ....👈😏 👉 I see the 99% of people with hi-priced ($300 + ) fancy barrel pens and gold nibs , on the You~tube ...Not me..I want to support the Budget / affordable / inexpensive / stretch a buck in the hyperinflation era of 2020-2030, newbies. LOL ...Function over fashion is my style.. 😎👍 Besides, One $500 collectors gold nib Fountain pen, is worth 25 - 35 functional Budget fountain pens. Pilot Kakuno is My workhorse and most loyal of fountain pens. I did crack the wallet open, a little bit , and got onto the Twisty Twisbi ride. 🙃😜 🤪 So far I've got the($55) *Twisbi Go* (Med nib) Feels like a writing with a marker...lol , then ($53) *Twisbi Eco* (Fine) loving these piston filling styles of fountain pens. lastly ended with the ($65) *Twisbi Diamond Mini Clear* (B nib). Still have to fill it with a new ink. If it is a Clear Body / Demonstrator, I will get it , eventually..LOL 🤑 💖😍👍I love the Demonstrator pens the best...something about seeing the ink diminishing in the cartridge/convertor or barrel is strangely , exciting for me. 😂👍 👏 I am grateful for your You~tube channel...Learning something new every time I view your journey and love seeing / hearing your excitement , as you walk with your creative tools. cheers...and be watching you, in your next upload. ✒🖋😎👍

I got the same set from Temu. I also got 3.4 mm ink cartridges for them. I love these pens. I paid about $6 for 8 pens with different nibs, and $1.50 for 12 ink cartridges. Free shipping. Temu is just Amazon wholesalers. No middlemen increasing prices for $$ I'm Native American mixed blood. Great granddaughter of Native American slaves owned by the Moore plantation. My grandfather was abused at one of those horrible schools that forced assimilation with the white privileged elitism. Cultural genocide. Thanks for your commenting.. Yeah, i agree with you... I am loving this calligraphy fountain pen set alot....I don't have to worry about ink blopping , or having the nib stab and get stuck in the paper surface...like it does with the calligraphy dip pen.. I didn't know that about *"Temu"* wholesalers...that is cool , and I will share this with my friends as well. The Assimilation process, is huge in North America...I am happy to hear , that you know who you are ...you one of the lucky ones to know your family history. Thank you , again...have a fantastic day.

I have used my BOB several times. A couple of things that come to mind are the so-called "Winter Storm Goliath" a couple of years ago. I was working in a semi-enclosed facility (State School) with about 14 other nurses, taking care of 'developmentally disabled' individuals. Snow knocked out our power and poor driving sealed both our gates with stranded cars. Our kitchen didn't even know how many of us they needed to feed; my BOB granola bars and jar of peanut butter fed us that first night. They managed bologna and cheese sandwiches for a breakfast the second day and fed us after that (about the same) . We were on duty 70 hours before they could manage to relieve us. I slept on the concrete floor of the medication room in my assigned home. (Yes, using my BOB stuff) We had three clients die of the cold before power was restored. One had seven blankets on his bed. The other event was a flooded road, we had about 30 cars end up in the ditch and had to have occupants rescued; all traffic was halted, I was about 15 miles from home with no way to get there. A church opened up for stranded travelers who needed beds and blankets. I chose to spend the night in a convenience store parking lot wrapped in my poncho liner in my Tahoe driver's seat. (Hey, they had lights, coffee, food and bathrooms!) I got home almost 20 hours later. (Yes, that poncho liner is still in my BOB.) - Papa

Brother you did good building his kit. You used the skills you learned as a child and added modern techniques to his bag. If he learned anything about how to survive in the woods or hunting and gathering he will do fine!!!!! The only opinion from me is more food and water. But in Canada you have more access to fresh water than us in America. I have been teaching people that here in cities we do not have access to drinking water br😅our creeks are polluted and will have to travel a great distance to met to clean water. Other bushnuts (the fake idiots) preach that you can filter any water with any straw or pocket filter which is false. Need someone to teach the difference in safe water versus polluted water from the damn creeks in cities. But good enough if carries the knowledge to use the gear. SEMPER FI
