Hmm - if you're brave, you can learn about "Environmental Maps" under the material editor. It's a property you can assign to a material that makes use of a "cube map" and fakes reflections. I learned about it through the manual: anim8or.com/learn/manual/9_materials.html

I am trying to record but I get an error message and then I check the Recording and it says no device found. Help. What am I doing wrong? and the one time I did get to record I got this awful feedback noise. again What am I doing wrong?

This is a tough thing to troubleshoot without knowing what's attached to your computer. The setings stage (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qMuKgLKbypy7eo0.htmlsi=cw2KhsGArIvv4Q4f&t=30) is probably where you'll find your solution, but spend a little more time here trying to find your proper PLAYBACK device as well as your RECORDING device. The sample rates might have to match the devices or hardware errors occur as well. Freeze the video at 00:53 to compare your settings with what I've used on the off chance that provides a clue?

What can you use to remove echo in audacity?

Not much, I'm afraid! A noise gate might help, but echo is kind of baked into the waveforms. That said - a quick Google serach suggests that there ARE AI solutions bubbling up to the surface these days! No clear ideas - Are you on WIndows? It might be worth right mouseclicking on your speaker icon, open up sound settings, and see if any of your sound devices have been disabled. Just a shot in the dark though.

I have a ring doorbell that’s in a hallway and the echo and static sound is awful. Really?! I'm glad to hear it helped! Although Premiere Elements 12 doesn't get a lot of use these days, the concept of keyframes is pretty universal!

The noise reduction tip! Omfg! I just got audacity, been using davinci for my audio drum stuff cuz simple. But there is always a small slight buzz when nothing is happening, I did a lot to minimize this, but I recorded my own trigger sound samples and removing the buzz so my samples in the sample library sound amazing from the start instead of post editing it out!

Yeah - I've been roasted over that before :^) Probably not as dramatic abuse as it sounds - the Yeti microphone sat on the desk just beside the keyboard as I recorded. Every keypress was picked up through the capsule AND through the vibrations in the desk. Lesson learned! My mic now hangs from a boom suspended off the desk. I should maybe make a video demonstrating this :^)
