Pure magic! It's great to hear Bonnie singing these songs live from the period of time close to when they were originally recorded. The emotion shines through in all of these songs but for me, personally. "Streets of Little Italy" blows it out of the water. Such raw vocals here particularly towards the end of the track 👍x 💖

@@livervid Aww. A live CD of this concert would be great. Sadly there's hardly any live CDs of Bonnie. I did find one several years ago "Live in Germany 1993" I think it's still available second hand online or maybe MP3 on Amazon. 80s live would be awesome! 👍

I was there! They did two shows that year The Metro, this was the second one. This one has Carla's incredible version of her song "Flinch" which was awesome but overall I thought the first show was better. Moe! was on a tiny stage (catwalk?) directly above Frank's drum set. He was outrageously animated that night! Thanks for sharing this footage, I have been lucky enough to see these guys about 15 times (2001-2011)and they never failed to deliver. As great a drummer that Matthias is, I really thought the band was better w/ Frank. Michael Melinder eventually replaced Moe! and he's a great multinstrumentialist, and composer but the energy level and excitement was never the same after Moe! left the band. The two final SF shows were unreal though as a six piece and between both shows that day, they pretty much played every song they had! I sure do miss them and Free Salamander Exhibit (it's always good to see Nils & Dan jam) rocks hard, it's never been the same w/o lovely Carla.
@BlueFlameJay5 жыл бұрын
And if you have footage or even audio of the first Metro show please post? They did the most incredible, different version of "The Creature" and I would love to hear it again! There is also pro shot footage of a June 2002 Bottom of the Hill show that's never surfaced.
