How did that premolar go to that position?! How was that space created? Did you use distalization or only expansion and ipr?

Nice result fair enough, but it dropped in your lap to a degree surely : the midline shift plus spacing played nicely into the result. No way could the outcome have been as efficient were it not for this initial setup. Damon would have achieved a comparable outcome with ideal alignment in similar or a better timeframe...not that timeframe is critical, though docs use it as part of discussion pre treatment

Can we purchase acceledent on our own if not offered by ortho?

If you have a high canine, can you still use Invisalign? My high canine is not straight up, is more on the left.i don't want to use braces... I am hoping to get Invisalign.

This is an impressive speed difference with just one extra device - acceledent. I'll ask my doctor about this or the VPro. This video was posted almost 4 years ago, so hopefully the technology has been even more refined.

Thank you very much for this video! I received my AcceleDent last week. I called my orthodontist’s office to inform them that it hurts to wear it, because it’s much too long. I was told that if my teeth meet in two spots, one on the left & one on the right, it will still be effective. Perhaps, but it was still damn uncomfortable, and since I couldn’t insert it all the way into my mouth AND close my lips, I was drooling all over my chin for 20 minutes daily. I have no casts of my teeth, so I took my maxillary aligner, centered it onto the AcceleDent tray, marked the tray where the distal of the second molar is, then trimmed off the excess tray at that point. Ahhh, relief & no more drooling! I didn’t bother to smooth down the squared off corners that were left by the ectomy, because they aren’t uncomfortable. Those are instructions that should have been included in the AcceleDent brochure for the patient, because orthodontist offices that bring in enough starts to qualify as Invisalign VIP Platinum and higher levels, are too busy to have a patient take up valuable chair time just to trim an ill-fitting tray. Of course, had they sized the tray in my mouth when they gave it to me, in the first place, and seen the poor fit, they could have trimmed it themselves, but they probably had another start to commence.
