@@NihonNoMajin sounds good to me! I’ve liked most of the titles when the masses said “this one sucks” I think people just think it’s got to be perfect or something. I was introduced to the series with ff8 if that tells you something haha
@NihonNoMajin

@SprinthartGaming this is true 😅. I think most younger gamers just think a game needs to be perfect, but us older gamers growing up before systems like the PS3 where games get updated, what we got was what we got lol. 100% agree! Sometimes you just have to give games a 2nd chance. Like for example I wasn't a huge fan of FF13. I played the 1st one maybe 2-3hrs then stop playing. Came back to it, played the whole trilogy, and absolutely love it. I don't really like picking at games. I just see it like say "OK I like this, but they could've added more" you know? Like the real big gripe I think 16 gets is it is very story heavy so you may feel like you're not doing a lot of fighting, but considering it is the crew that made 14 the story is really amazing! The zones while open and spacious, do feel abit empty at times like there's not a lot of enemies to fight, and chest or scattered and I would've liked if you got a accessory or something that would show where chest are, but you can see what they were going for and can improve upon. The side quest do feel very mmo, but I wouldn't say they are necessarily boring 😊. The combat is SUPER FUN though. If they were to ever make a sequel or do another in that format, I would like to see 2 things. 1 give the weapons attributes or special abilities just to make them feel more different instead of just damage, and build on the combat whether it's adding in different types of weapons or even more eikon versatility. It's still possibly among my top 5 FF games or at the least top 10!

@NihonNoMajin yes always find bugs and was around things but normally never had anything game breaking unless you went looking for it haha. Ya I was kinda the same with 13 but I couldn’t fully get into lightning returns. I’ll have to revisit it one day and see if it might change. Im not surprised with it being very story heavy look at 14 it’s very story heavy as well idk if its the same as 16 but I could imagine it being pretty close. Well when it comes out for PC I’ll see what your talking about cuz I’ve done a pretty good job at not having any spoilers thus far until doing this event haha but I don’t know how it’s implemented yet so not to spoilery.

It’s just ffxvi crossing over into ffxiv but I definitely get the confusion here. It would be cool if they added something in the ffxvi from 14 but I would not have the opportunity to play that since they have not got the port done yet but I’ll wait for it

You can lure the freakers in front of red barrels outside. Then use just 1 bullet to get rid of more than one freakers. Just get clear of the barrels, as you also can burn! Further down the line, you get rid of many freakers in hordes by using the red explosive packs the same way as the barrels. If you don`t use them red barrels and explosive packs you need a lot of ammo..

Cut the wires before you start the generators. Epecially important now in the start when weapons and ammo are scarse! Also you have passed a lot of cedar saplings in the wild. What you can make bolts to the crossbow with (in the last video) This game just rocks! It may seem slow now, but when you get upgrades for your bike and yourself (nero injectors) you become a one man army! Now you feel fragile and scared compared to later in the game... Stay clear from hordes for now. You get to them later! Have fun!
@SprintMMO

I don’t know why I never thought to cut the wires first! I’ll do that next time! I’ll have to keep a better eye out for them saplings ya the only really problem so far that I have is that the melee weapons just brake so fast I’m hoping that further in the crafting stuff I’ll be able to make some last longer. Thank you so much for all the tips! Loving the game so far!

You did what I still consider probably the most satisfying part of the original game's storyline. Not the final story quests, though those are still satisfying as all hell, but the part where you start bringing the people of Tyria the hope that yes, the dragons can be defeated if they unite. Considering how this comes on the heels of the biggest punch to the gut the main story holds, where you aren't being shown how much further is left to go, but are soundly defeated in the story quest The Battle of Claw Island, lost someone who has been a close companion that you managed to get attached to (be it Forgal "Cool Old Guy" Kernson, our favorite scatterbrained if brilliant Sylvari known as Sieran (Priory), or the absolutely hilarious- and loved by the fandom- Tybalt Leftpaw (Order of Whispers)) deciding to stay behind to buy you and others time to escape.

Even with just the base game, the storyline is awesome, and has a lot of variations to it depending on race, which organization you choose to support for the mid game, the choices you make in the story change things a bit for the late game, mostly minor details, and the music is Jeremy Soule showing his chops as a composer. But welcome to Guild Wars 2, you're in for a ride. And the game never feels lacking.

Hope you enjoy it, its a wonderfull game! Levels 1-80 can be "boring" (?) because new games / entertainment are more fast paced / addictive and first leveling isnt made for modern standards. I am saying that just to let you know, that if you find it annoying (Specially at the end 75-80) it is worth it, more than worth it. Its not like later on everything will be fast or addictive, but you will be able to decide between so many adventures or personal objectives, and play them at your phase that you will 100% enjoy it. Have fun!

@@SprintMMO The nice thing is that lvl 1-80 progression isn't overly difficult. I've been playing this game off and on since launch, have all the current expansions though I still have to work towards completing End of Dragons, and the game is not one that is hard to pick back up and get back into the groove of things. If anything, the most time consuming thing will be finding everything. Especially skill and mastery points, which will make getting your first elite class (level 80) much easier wrt the skill points. There are over 180 skill point locations to visit over the entire map. Don't worry about getting enough from leveling, as you will gain enough to unlock all the skill tree stuff for the base game version of your class and the game is perfectly playable and beatable with just base class. The expansions are a bit kinder in the skill point locations, with those giving 10 per, but are also largely harder to get as a good number of them require making use of the expansion's mechanics (gliders and updrafters for Heart of Thorns, mounts for Path of Fire, and I haven't even gotten to the new one for End of Dragons). The most annoying part is that the living world content, which is free if you log in when that specific chapter releases and before the next one, but is 200 Gems otherwisem, thus require a small price to unlock. Once unlocked, it's all account bound, but it is annoying. And this stuff adds a lot to the story, especially the Path of Fire ones, which are absolutely epic. On top of an expansion that was absolutely epic. Not that the main content isn't already epic in its own right. Even better, you can go back to areas and use them to progress as YOUR level scales to the area, but with the caveat that it is only down, not up. But it means that it is entirely possible, if time consuming, to reach max level in just the starting zones for each race. And the level progression is MUCH faster than it was when the game was fairly new, not to mention a bit easier. One thing, base game World Bosses are the main reason to get your exploration complete (just the waypoints), as farming them is one thing a lot of players do, and some of those world bosses are epic (I'm looking at YOU, Claw of Jormag).

@@SprintMMO Ah, that one. The Shadow Behemoth is a good one for showing how world boss fights can be mechanically challenging. And you went with Guardian it seems. I prefer Elementalist (that's my first character and the one who later bcame my main) but I've beaten the base game with every class short of Engineer. Guardian seems like a tank class, but Guild Wars 2 does not do the usual MMO Trinity of Tank/DPS/Healer. Every class can do them, but each class is better at certain one. It's going to be based on your weapon/armor suffixes or prefixes, as those actually dictate the stat bonuses.
