Yes, it was nice watching the dinner cruise boats passed by, but it was even nicer knowing that I'm gonna much more elevated environment than on the cruise boat

@@Paletoe nope. It stays right there. It is docked there permanently. But that doesn’t mean that it rocks every now and again when another bird comes by though. So you can still get seasick 😂😁

Well, the upper deck is mostly covered, so you might be able to dine up there in the rain. However, the lower deck is completely sheltered from the rain, so you could move down there. 👍

That is a valid question. In the scope of hotels and restaurants, I am an influencer. There should be a disclaimer from KZfaq in the top left corner that pops up in be beginning of almost every one of my videos which tells you "This video contains paid promotion". I most certainly get special treatment everywhere I go (believe me that as much as I appreciate it, it is also a concern of 'weakness' in my reviews) but, the branding on my clothing has absolutely nothing to do with it since I visit hotels under contract and all relevant staff are briefed on my identity before I arrive. Better service is something I cannot control, unless I went 'undercover' and paid for my hotel stays. As for the ethics or credibility... I show you what is possible at a particular hotel - whither you choose to pay for that service is up to you. The goal of my channel is to give you an informed decision when booking hotels buy showing you what the hotel really is like in terms of location, near by shops where you can by cheep beer, sandy or rocky beaches, condition of the hotel room, etc. I never hide the 'not so good parts'. I review as I experience it.

I was a bit worried about the decor before going there but actually worked very well in that space. I could agree more about the presentation. I wish you could taste that food though. They truly blew me away.

Haha. That's what you think. You should see the prices of the soft drinks and even the water. :-). Nonetheless, I still recommend the rooftop bar though.

@@BangkokHotelReviews Prices of soft drinks are always considerably low compared to other drinks. This is the norm in every bar I have visited but they always think everyone at the bar is here to drink alcohol or cocktails. That's the last thing I can put in my body.

@@estonkagota1454 Correct. That is usually the case . The Sky Bar is different though. Though those prices are lower than that of alcohol, they are not that considerably lower. We've been up there 10 to 15 times and we're always struck by the price ratio.

I would simply take a taxi there - it'll be more cost effective since there are 4 of you (assuming you include 2 kids). If you really want to, then you could walk to the hotel to Phra Arthit pier, take the river taxi to Si Phraya pier (there are two of them side by side), then take the free IconSiam boat to IconSiam. @@jamesb2954 thank you for your valued comment. They definitely do need to work on this hotel a lot. I would like to see it when the refurbishment has been completed. Unfortunately, the dated look of the rooms does make one question whether it’s worth paying so much money for a room at this location. nonetheless, it is a wonderful oasis to have so close to the airport.
