@@SheaHudson i work for the rides and games!! a lot of my friends/coworkers are in this as well, we have about 13 different locations across the entire faire(archery, flying carousels, the joust ride, etc) im underneath the giant rocking horse at the end of the video!

going to the ren faire for the first time and im interested in the tails they were selling, how much were they or how much money should i bring in total?

That’s a great question! I actually had that exact question while I was preparing for my day at the Ren Faire as well…😅 If I remember correctly, I think the tails I saw ranged from like $45 for the cheapest ones, to like $80 ish for the larger fluffier ones. I didn’t really bring any “shopping” money this time around, as I was mostly there to simply enjoy the overall atmosphere and familiarize myself with how everything works and is laid out. However, next year when I go, I’ll most likely save money months before hand so I can have spending money specifically for the event - and I’d say you’d probably be okay with around $100-$200 if you are just wanting some food, drinks, and maybe a few smaller souvenirs. Any clothing is going to be a bit on the expensive side (in my opinion) since everything is primarily handmade. The AZ Faire did seem a bit pricey, but then again, this was my first Faire so I don’t really have anything to compare it to! 😅 I hope that helps. Enjoy your time at the Ren Faire! 😊✨

The Ren Fest is always a good time, one of my favorite places is the greyhound pavilion (you get to pet retired greyhounds), I always suggest going on a Sunday as there is less people. Also I would def recommend getting one of the nutrolls they sell, they are quite tasty.

I would also recommend partaking in the pleasure feast at least once, whilst it is a bit spendy, its a very fun time , you are served a multiple course meal, they have acts that perform at the festival perform as you enjoy your meal, there's usually 2 mc's that keep the action going, they are rather amusing.

Turkey legs are over rated. lol I've only ever had one once, and that was enough, and I've been attending faire for 14 years now (vended, shop rat, patron). It's an experience for your first time...but there is so much other food that's better to get at a Ren Faire, and every Faire is different. My home faire (Bristol in Wisconsin) is known for it's cheese fritters and mushrooms. The thing to get an MN Faire is their tiny loaded pancakes. GA is the Peacock tearoom. FL is...Gator bites. :P

Yes, I’d have to agree that they’re overrated as well! 😅 But definitely a must try for a first timer, for sure. Omg, LOADED PANCAKES??? Now that, I’d sign up for!! 😍
