South Korea has one of the lowest birth rates in the world. They need to start reproducing NOW or thd country will decline and becomd extinct. Maybe people should stsrt thinking sboug saving their country instead of filling their bsnk books.

Korean society has a lot of problems. It's true that there's a lot of prejudice, judgmentalism, hypocrisy, jealousy and envy. SK people have a cult of appearance perfectionism, money and social status. Looks preveil over human values and kindness. SK is a very beautiful country, but human values have drastically changed with K-pop which affects Korean people and K-stars themselves. All this leads to mental disorders, depression rates, and overall life disatisfaction. I was shocked when I learnt that South Korea had high suicide rate though it's a country with a highly developed mixed economy and rather stable situation. Nevertheless, SK people seem to still suffer from depression and disatisfaction, dependance on looks (plastic surgery flourishes there) and social status which, I think, the root of extreme behavior and judgmentalism there (haters clubs). I really hope it could change...

This is So different than actor/fan perceptions. We thrive on who’s dating who and will and when they get married. It only becomes ridiculous when they treat marriage as tissue paper and how many they can use. In the end it’s their choice but to be forced into making a choice driven by “fans” is sad. Being unmarried doesn't mean being gay. I am unmarried, and I have many friends who are also unmarried. I even have a nephew who doesn't want to get married. None of us are gay. The truth is, when I was a child, I noticed that my unmarried aunts had better lives than my mom and other married women, who were always upset with their husbands, children, household chores, financial needs, and more. Meanwhile, my spinster aunts had the freedom to read novels, nap, and do other things without anyone bothering them. So, as a child, I wanted to have a life like my spinster aunts. I have no regrets.

I totally get the timing thing. At some point it becomes easier to live alone and enjoy being alone then it does to have to adapt to living with another human being. Marriage requires a huge amount of compromise, and unselfishly giving up every tiny thing you actually want to defer to couple happiness. Whether it's what you really want for dinner, cleaning up after someone else, or dealing with someone else's family situations... Sometimes it is just easier to come home have a girl dinner, play a video game while watching a k-drama and chill. Selfish yes but also really happy abd peaceful
