Cities 1, with all the mods and custom assets, is far better than Cities 2 as of yet. Frankly, it'll likely take YEARS for CS2 to get 'as good' as CS1, just for the sheer amount of material available.

In terms of the Modding Community, they always come in clutch and are the saviors of horribly flopped games. For the actual game itself and the devs? I don't know, I still find myself fighting with cities collapsing in on themselves, I still get massive waves of death, my economy tanks constantly no matter what I do to try and fix it, or what mods I use to try and correct that, business still struggle to hire employees, and the education system is still a complete joke and does nothing to improve my cities. I've given up on CS2 and I will be sticking with Cities Skyline 1.

I used to never do roads, only rails. What I really remember is spending the city's whole budget in January and then having to wait for the next year before I could do anything again. Also, don't feel silly about building an airport in 1906; I would build nuclear power plants even before that!

Easy? Bruh, I don’t even know how to use mods. I’m a console owner. When I had mods for this on my laptop, I broke the game. Edit: Oh shit! That was easier than I expected. Just gotta learn mods.

Mod support should be added as soon as possible as a small update without much delay and when they add it, it can even replace the updates they barely make

I've installed the corner building mod and it's honestly one of the best things I've done on this game, it genuinely made the experience much better lol.
