Let me start by saying that i am not homophobic. We returned from overseas to a 60's America I didn't grow up in. I grew up in the Army overseas. This show got me through high school during very tense days. 40 decades later this video brings me to tears as I remember the comradship of these three characters, especially Kirk and Spick. Rodenberry designed these three to be the different aspects of one man - brilliant. They couldn't help but love each other. A classic portrayal of Agape love. Something I'm afraid very few people know of nowadays.. where everything is sexualized. 🖖

I think there is a film missing from the list. The actor's face is familiar and I think he normally plays baddies in films but I can't remember his name and I can't work out the film. There's a scene where they are in a crowed market place and he takes his hat off to kiss the heroine (again no idea of name).

Absolutely wonderful video I!I have seen all of these movies more than 3 times. Such wonderful love stories!! I loved especially the conclusion of your video with scenes from North and South (for me the best period romance series-I watch it every time i am upset),Jane Eyre with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens (the best tv version of Jane Eyre) and of course ,the american ending of P&P.
