Heres my crackpot theory of the day that was spurred on by you pointing out we're putting the eggs in places asgore is at each chapter: Theres gonna be a secret ending where you have to put all the eggs in the places asgore was by. (This isnt the crackpot part, but it is still a theory(a gAMET-)) I think by the end of deltarune, regardless of ending, asgore will learn to move on from his one sided relationship with toriel and take care of himself. Also, I feel we can safely assume asgore is bi (some of you just figured out where im going with this. Maybe?) because of the undertale alarm clock dialogue regarding asgore and rudy. So that crackpot ending theory is? Asgore and Gaster start a loving relationship. Thats my crackpot theory. Base level, You would not BELIEVE the amount of chemistry these two have, assume gaster is the cold, cynical scientist that he may. Be? Given what little we know? Listen- you cant just be asgore, the guy who is super hope coded and was in a relationship with toriel, a dreams coded character, and not be a perfect match for THE dreams character, wing gaster the royal scientist. Oh sorry i said crackpot theory. I didn't mean crackpot theory. Its what it FEELS like since im in the lore rabbit hole and its such an insane thing to even think about. The canonical thing about saving is that they would just reset if they died (it’s the “moral” of undertale) if there is any way of progressing they would most likely instead of giving up they would have gotten bored and just let themselves die (basically giving up) until flowey was created where he was most likely created after the human souls (no undertale yellow) flowey also tried to die but he just couldn’t let himself die (for some reason?) until frisk came, this is most likely what happened while not going too far from the world of undertale. (Also that love thing at 29:53 having kris and noelle making love is vile, more vile than Toby fox, they’re children man. Toby fox wouldn’t do that)

this video was one of the more interesting theory videos i've seen, a lot of people have caught on to the patient soul seemingly having some kind of bigger role. I really wonder if we will meet the other human souls from undertale in deltarune as living people, it would be super interesting. Also, small nitpick, but the audio was a bit too quiet, I think it would be nice if the volume was just a bit higher in future videos.

Great video, very interesting 👍 7 chapters... I don't think that's a coïncidence. And the flowers in Asgore's shop show that the souls traits may also symbolize something in DELTARUNE. The printer theory is fun too ! The first area we saw in the dark world is really strange, I wonder if we'll have more explanations. With this in mind, the Bad Memory theory falls in perfect line with Omori, which has themes centered around repression, remembrance, and moving on from trauma. I think what’s very interesting is that in a game like deltarune, a mysterious egg could end up being extremely important and significant, or mean nothing. Eggs are very regular in real life, but they represent potential. The seed of something greater, or more significant. Seems like eventually, we’ll see what the “egg mystery” will hatch into

Okay hi loved your video nice to see someone as passionate about sould as i am (back in 2018 i like wrote 4 pages of analysis about them which is mostly innacurate nowadys but I still want to revisit it) I have another thing to say about the chara gaster connection as chara is my favourite CHARActer in the cutting room floor theres something like dialogue for demon 1 2 3 4 and 5 and the speech pattern is really similar to charas they also don't seem like seperate characters as the "dialogue" (don't really know what to call it) seem like sentences spoken by one person not to mention the fact how demons relate to chara anyways just want to mention it since not many deltarune theorists mention it (Theres also another thing about their being multiple save files I think around ten and how their could be one for each human soul and the other ones for frisk flowey and another person i dont know just read it in a comment once but it could be worth something)(I also found the core segment really interesting the next time when ill replay undertale it will be something that im going to pay attention to)

2 notes i'd like to say about the red soul and blue soul: First, I think a possible reason a red soul was on the machine is that it is believed by many monsters, as stated in the librarby, that monster souls are comprised of positive emotions. Chara's life fostered these emotions, so as the lab would be put into operation, perhaps they decided that there was no better symbol for something that would generate power in a place of scientific progress would be the symbol of their hope for a better future, as these positive emotions in a sense not only were the heart of progress but their heart and hope as a race, which kept them alive. Second is a less speculative claim, and that is the note that the blue soul's defense item is a faded, red ribbon. A red ribbon, of any color. It could be coincidence, but red and blue are very linked in these games, you could view it as a sort of duality. Kris's body opposes our soul, one is red and one is blue. The red soul is truly violent, wielding a real knife, while the blue soul has a toy one instead. Conclusion: i don't know

So, in Chapter 1, we can put the Egg in the almost empty fridge of Asgore, and in Chapter 2, we put it in the eggs basket in Sans' shop. In a way, they're both related to a bad memory relating to the Dreemurr family : The Divorce of Toriel and Asgore, and the possibility of Sans and Toriel becoming more than friends. But for now, that's the bad part of the "Bad Memory". Maybe, once we have the full game, there's going to be placed where you can put the Eggs that would be like using Bad Memories when low on HP : Instead of hurting us, it'll heal/help us

This made me check out your comic and wow - really enjoyed the way you characterized the souls. It was a lot of fun to see someone else's perspective on what they might have been like, and I recognised some of the stuff you mentioned in the video (like the true lab generator possibly having a soul). The CYMK thing also applies to kris and spamton. Spamton already has magenta and yellow in his glasses but he needs cyan (kris) to complete his plan. So there definitely is some importance to the colours in deltarune.

this is probably the wrong place to say this, but it just came to my mind and probably won't hold up in the future chapters. When we fight Jevil, we have the Determination soul. When we fight Spamton Neo, we have the justice soul. I noticed that when you fight Asgore, you have a determination soul and before that, Mettaton with the Justice soul. so what if in the future, the soul order continues, and if so, what will happen with patience and bravery?

Maybe Everyman is a secret boss? Everyman is a trope.
