I hope that someday we will get a updated Corris route reflecting its current modern day look with Corris no 10 and 7 being included and with 5 & 9 per haps even 6 & 11 being included with carriages 22 & 23. But alas we can only dream

Steam sales keep making me buy TSW versions when I hardly play them anymore. I should be happy with what I have for a casual simmer. Two routes I would VERY much buy if ever released are Toronto based ones - TTC Line 1 and Go Transit

I don’t get why they don’t have any wales routes in tsw4 I mean they could do Holyhead to Chester or if their to lazy to die that Llandudno to Chester the engines could the avanti east coast and the transport for wales or they could do it in the past a bit they could do the west coast virgin train and the ariva I live next to the north wales coast and given the fact that it could give Chester which is a main station and it could give the avanti which there already is a logo for in the livery designer or you could get a virgin train I don’t understand why they don’t make it

the ad on the 3501 tram never fails to crack me up (30:16) surely they would realise the irony of advertising on an electric tram?

Can someone explain the numbering, please? 9000 means (I think) it's a DL, but how come the numbers go past 9280, if there are only 60?

Also at 11:30, the HCMT will be an empty stock movement to the sidings at Calder Park. There are at the moment only a couple of scheduled weekday passenger services from Sunbury through the city to the southeast daily, with none carrying passengers the other way until the Metro tunnel opens and the HCMTs are through-running to Sunbury next year. And for the sake of completeness, at 22:15, Hallam is another skyrail station built on this line, just before Narre Warren.

At 3:50 you managed to photograph an E1 tram (6018) with an E2 cab on it! Nos. 6001-6050 are the E1s and 6051-6100 are E2s. There are a few E1s that have been involved in car accidents and because the cabs are modular and an E2 cab can be built locally that's what they've been repaired with. Vicsig refers to them as "cat-dogs". There is or was at least 1 E2 "dog-cat" as well: 6059, which has an E1 cab at 1 end and an E2 cab at the other.

I knew there was an E1 with an E2 cab (or vice versa), but I couldn't remember the number.

3:47 There's also a slight difference of the slope and design of the roof at the top of the cabs, and originally the E2 class had more handrails. (The E class at 15:10 has the old roof design) Also, a little fun fact: the small shelter and bin to the right of the C2 at 16:22 is used sometimes for tram drivers to change shifts, and the third platform at Clarendon St Junction was in the past used for the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant, which was a fleet of W class trams with restaurants on board.

I noticed the disused platform when I was there, but forgot to take a photograph of it. As for the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant itself, I saw her back in October 2013, and she reminds me of the W2 that's now running in Christchurch, NZ at a restaurant tram. For reference, that W2 is number 411.

I'll agree, this line is somewhat shorter and less "repeatable" than other routes, you could probably get away with "Permanent-Way" trains on this route as well. I only got this route because of another route I wanted that required assets from this route, otherwise, it's just been sitting in my library not really being utilised. Great vid, always good that. 👍

One of the most beautiful videos I've seen, shame it's pissing it down. I lived in Stoneleigh, Surrey, on the Mole Valley line, when I was 4, and the evocative sound of 2EPBS, 4SUBS, 4EPBS and 508s was the soundtrack to my early childhood. Thanks for the memories.

The thing is, they need routes to be boring and have shitty replay value so people will buy more routes 😂 Business is business. What's the use of selling a 80 mile route for 1/3 higher price than a 30 mile one? Planned obsolescence

Thank you for an interesting video. I remember the Wellington trams quite well. I was born in the early 1950s and lived in Broadway near the Seatoun tunnel. I was about four years old when my mum took me on a tram through the tunnel and back, I don’t know where we went after that. I also managed to jump on the last tram a couple of hundred yards before it went into the shed. I have been to the Wellington tramway museum years ago and enjoyed the visit, although I find it strange being on a tram in a park. They should be surrounded by streets and buildings! All the best from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

Big NS nerd here. Just to clarify some things: -The bell continuing to ring briefly after blowing the horn is prototypical for the majority of engines NS uses. It's a function they're very fond of. -The windshields being angled outward is a feature of the "admiral" cab, a modernized cab design that NS uses on a number of upgraded or rebuilt second and third gen EMD models, including SD40s and GP38s. -You're right that the horn is a K5LA. One of my personal favorites. It's used very extensively by both NS and CSX. On another note, I wish NS would get a bit more love in TSW. There are a lot of lines from N&W and Southern that could be adapted for the game, and no shortage of interesting and unique engines from over the years to run on them. But, Dovetail seems to be obsessed with everything in stupid fucking California, so I doubt it'll happen.

Nice review but a bit of an oversight not to mention that this is the first (and still only) route/train in TS Classic to feature ATO (automatic train operation). The train can drive itself around the entire loop simply by pressing the ATO button in-cab, after the doors are closed at each station.
