I loved Wonder tape when it had paper on the back. The plastic they use now doesn't let go of the adhesive. I tried to rub it with my fingers like you said, but the tape and adhesive still come off together. So what is an easy way to get the plastic off that leaves the adhesive on?

I only have a serger but I'm new to sewing and usually do things by hand so I really want a sewing machine so I can get more experience! agh! I usually don't make clothes but I sew in various projects but I would love to tailor and mod my clothes

My stitches aren’t tight enough to sew using only my serger. I see a lot of the thread between the seems. However, my serger tension settings are perfect. What can I do to start sewing with my serger?
