We do not split-flaps we have flip dot modules + software that make them work like split flaps

Wish the video quality was better. 240p just isn't enough. Since you can run video on these but not of the greatest quality you should play a gameplay video of half life 2 or some other game on this.

It is electromagnetic. There is a magnet in each dot and coil with magnetic core at the back. By putting electric pulse on or another direction you can turn each dot black or yellow.

@HoneycombAgent The display works by using more than 34,000 individual "pixels"... but instead of the pixels being LEDs, they're flip-disc modules. Every one is a disc, white on one side and black on the other, that is electromagnetically flipped between the white side facing out or in. Every time it flips, it makes noise... and there's a lot of flipping going on :P
